Watch: Temptation Island Season 5 Couples Say Goodbye in Episode 2 Sneak Peek
Things are heating up on Temptation Island. Here's a preview of next week's episode where the couples will go to their separate villas.
Temptation Island’s new season started off with a bang with all-new couples and tempting singles to lure them away from their relationship. Now with the premiere come and gone, USA Network has shared an extended sneak peek of the second episode of Season 5.
To quickly recap in case you missed the first episode: the couples arrived with all their baggage and issues in tow. Leonila “Paris” Pedro wants a family and her boyfriend Nzuechukwu “Great” Ezihie wants to slow things down; Vanessa Valente wants her boyfriend Roberto Mal to mature despite their 10-year age difference; Marisela Figueroa and Christopher Wells have to learn how to compromise; and Kaitlin Tufts and Hall Toledano are engaged, but is the altar their final destination?

The Episode 2 sneak peek (above) kicks off with the mixer between the couples and singles, but there’s some unhappiness looming with Marisela telling Christopher it’s a lot to be in the villas. This having come right after Chris outed her as being open to dating women as well as men.
“I’m overwhelmed, Christopher, I didn’t expect to come and talk about all of that," she told him. He apologized to her if any of her secrets spilled out. (Spoiler alert: Her secrets were spilled.) However, she says she was there to find her voice and discover who she is. But as we all know, growth can hurt. “I’m just trying to be OK,” she says in the preview.
Host Mark L. Wahlberg breaks up the party to ask the couples about what they have noticed so far about the experience.
For one, Vanessa is 10 years older than her boyfriend Roberto, and it’s hitting her. “I’m starting to think I’m just a baby cougar, why am I attracted to these 20-something-year-old men?” she says
Mark points out that while everyone was mingling, Marisela and Christopher were off to themselves. “It’s our go-to,” Marisela says quietly.
“I feel kind of bad because I might have been oversharing,” Christopher adds as he continues to share the tea that his girlfriend isn’t comfortable with sharing — again. Mark comforts her and the group by letting them know they have their own journeys as he tells the couples it’s time to part and go into their separate villas.
They get the opportunity to share whatever they need to get off their chest, because as Mark says, "For some of you, it’s possible that this may be the last time you’re together as a couple, ever.”
