The Wildest Moments from the Love Island USA Season 6 Reunion
The Love Island USA Season 6 gang got back together one last time for a drama-filled night of revelations and settled scores.
There you have it, Love Island USA fans: The Season 6 reunion came and went and with it a slew of new drama that’s sure to have fans talking about the events of this summer well into the fall.
From dating announcements to rocky roads for seemingly strong couples (not to mention a spectacularly messy breakup) a lot happened during the Love Island USA Season 6 reunion’s 1 hour and 20 minute runtime. For those struggling to keep track and unpack everything that went down, we’ve compiled just some of the most interesting bits from the reunion below.
Kordell’s Cheez-It dream came true
Fans may remember Kordell shared one of his surprising long-term goals with his now-girlfriend, Serena, while they were still on the Island.
Good news for him, it came true.
During the reunion, he confirmed that he has indeed partnered with Cheez-It for a collaboration. According to a press release, the brand is introducing “Kordeezy Cheezy Couple,” described as “a bundle of Kordell’s favorite flavors with packaging featuring the man himself.” They’re only around for a limited time and exclusively available online, so act fast if you want them.
Leah and Miguel made it official
So far, Serena and Kordell as well as JaNa and Kenny have made their relationship official after leaving the villa. During the reunion, Season 6 runners-up Miguel and Leah confirmed that they too are deciding to give their connection a legitimate go as boyfriend and girlfriend.
He revealed he asked Serena to organize a special birthday dinner for him and Leah in which he gave her a birthday card and made a speech that ended with him asking her to be his girlfriend… and she’s thinking about it.
Just kidding! She said "yes" and now they’re official!
Nicole and Kendall are over
Both Nicole and Kendall have made it clear in separate interviews since leaving the villa that things have been difficult for them on the outside. A lack of communication and a lie told by Kendall during an incredibly difficult time in his post-villa life have created a rift between them that they said they'd work through. However, it was revealed shortly after the Reunion aired that the he decided to end things between them.
The girls call out Andrea’s Aftersun interview
A lot of things were said about the infamous firepit conversation in which the girls decided to kick Andrea off the show (more on that later). However, in her Aftersun interview, Andrea came at Leah hard and, now that she’s out of the villa and able to speak her peace, Leah came at Andrea just as hard for saying she was “two-faced” and reacted “emotionally” to her split with Rob.
Andrea tried to apologize, but JaNa came to her friend’s defense with a literal printout of the transcript of Andrea’s interview and the two proceeded to give her a verbal beat down for the ages that left Andrea speechless.
Aaron and Kaylor broke up… again
Fans will remember when Day One couple Kaylor and Aaron had a tough time after Casa Amor when she saw him making out with another girl. Aaron continued to only tell her half-truths about his time in Casa Amor until it all finally came out at movie night (or so it seemed). They left the Island together and seemed like they were going to make it work. However, in one of the most puzzling moments from the reunion, Aaron blurted out that he didn’t tell Kaylor the whole truth and confessed to more making out with Daniella and revealed he put his hands down her pants during Casa.
Kaylor then popped off on him with a rant for the ages — because apparently, this was the first she was hearing about it despite asking him two days ago in their hotel room if there was anything he wasn't telling her. She yelled at him for beating her down emotionally and making her a different girl than she was when she entered the villa. She concluded with “Leave me alone, you don’t deserve me at all. You’re disgusting.”
It seems they’re fully done this time, but who knows?
Why did the girls vote out Andrea?
One of the most controversial moments from Season 6 was when the decision to kick either JaNa, Andrea, or Nicole off the show came down to the remaining girls in the villa. They ended up picking Andrea, who had a clearly strong connection with Rob, and saved Nicole and JaNa. At the time, JaNa had failed to really make a connection with anyone in the villa, but she was friends with all the girls so they kept her. Meanwhile, Nicole was waffling between Kendall and Miguel. So, it was perplexing to everyone that they went with Andrea.
There was some speculation that Leah orchestrated things to get Andrea out of there as revenge for her essentially stealing Rob away from her, but she denied it and even claimed she tried to take a backseat to the proceedings. The reality was lost to rumor ... until the reunion.
Host Ariana Madix closed out the show by playing the entire unedited conversation the girls had, showing Leah being very vocal, Liv voting to kick Nicole out, and much, much more.
Honestly, watching this drama-fueled and controversial conversation would be juicy enough without all the rest of the exciting things that happened at the reunion. If you’re a Love Island USA Season 6 fan, you should definitely cap off your summer by checking it out.
