Wait, Did Luke And Iris From 'Temptation Island' Season 4 Break Up?
Some interesting social media activity has led fans to speculate that Luke and Iris have called off their engagement.
Did Iris Jardiel and Luke Wechselberger from “Temptation Island” Season 4 break up?
That’s the speculation on social media after some bold moves made on her Instagram account: Namely, in recent weeks Iris seems to have completely scrubbed Luke’s presence from her grid on the social media platform except for posts that promoted their appearance on the USA Network reality series.
This is intriguing because sharing their lives on Instagram after the Season 4 finale was one of the things that Iris said she was looking forward to while speaking with USA Insider.
“We do everything together and we love going out and meeting up with friends and posting together, posting Stories together,” she explained at the time. “So it's been hard not being able to tag him or show him in anything that I do because he's such a big part of my life [to avoid spoilers].”
Just last week, Iris posted professional photos of herself modeling pink swimwear. She captioned them, “Don’t fumble the bag.”
While most of the comments were people complimenting her steamy look, her principal tempter in her villa, former Season 2 single Deac Conti, pointed out that she is not wearing the engagement ring Luke gave her in the final episode of the season.
“Someone fumbled the bag because that ring is off,” he commented.
While Iris didn’t say anything, her co-star Gillian Lieberman, who left the island single after things didn’t work out with her boyfriend, Edgar de Santiago, spoke up.
“She gave it to me,” she joked. “I’m wifey now.”
While the comment exchange was all fun and games, fans continue to speculate that the couple, who came to the island with serious problems that were seemingly fixed thanks to their experience, have called it quits. If so, they’d hardly be the first “Temptation Island” couple to leave the island on happy terms only for things to fizzle out once cameras stop rolling.
However, there is a glimmer of hope for Iris and Luke. Earlier this week, Luke shared an Instagram Story of a meal he was about to eat. When he panned the camera to the right, viewers saw none other than Iris herself with him.
So, what’s the real story of their relationship right now? Fans will just have to keep an eye on their social media to find out.
