Where Is The Cast of 'Mr. Robot' Now?
Find out what the cast of "Mr. Robot" has been up to since the show ended in 2019.
“Mr. Robot” ended its run in 2019 after four seasons of mind-bending hacktivism that saw main character Elliot Alderson (Rami Malek) go on a life-changing journey. Years later, as fans wonder if the show will ever return, some may be wondering what the cast has been up to in the four years since the show ended.
The show boasted an all-star cast with A-listers like Malek and Mr. Robot himself, Christian Slater, and since the finale, most of the cast used the USA Network original series as a springboard to exciting new things.
Rami Malek
After playing the cerebral lead character of the show for four seasons, Rami Malek has enjoyed massive success in Hollywood.
Prior to landing the role of Alderson, Malek was best known as Ahkmenrah in “Night At The Museum: Secret of the Tomb.” However, the same year “Mr. Robot” ended, he starred as Freddie Mercury in the Queen frontman’s biopic, “Bohemian Rhapsody.” He won the Academy Award for Best Actor, adding to the pile of awards he got from “Mr. Robot,” which includes an Emmy and a Golden Globe.
From there, he gained more acclaim as the villain Lyutsifer Safin in Daniel Craig’s last outing as the famous James Bond in “No Time To Die.” In addition, he lends his voice to the “Blackout” podcast, which has so far run for two seasons.
Christian Slater
Slater was a successful actor prior to “Mr. Robot,” known best for roles in popular films like “Heathers,” “True Romance,” and “Broken Arrow.”
After the immensely popular show gave his career a big shot in the arm, he’s taken his talents to the world of voiceover with roles in animated shows like “Milo Murphy’s Law,” “The Lion Guard,” “Rick and Morty," and, most recently, as a character named Slater on “Archer.”
However, he hasn’t completely stayed off-camera. He’s played pivotal roles in true crime recreation stories like “Dirty John: The Betty Broderick Story” and “Dr. Death.”
Carly Chaikin
Other than the core two cast members, the other biggest recurring person on the show was Chaikin, who played Darlene Alderson, a hacker, programmer, and member of fsociety, who is later revealed to be Elliot’s sister.

She previously played Dalia Royce on the hit series “Suburgatory.” Since the show ended in 2019, Chaikin starred in the 2020 thriller “Last Moment of Clarity.” However, she’s mostly spent her time not acting, but pursuing her other creative talent: painting.
It’s not just a hobby. She’s opened some exhibits and her website boasts a bevy of very impressive artwork.
Portia Doubleday
Doubleday played Angela Moss, a childhood friend of Elliot’s who played an impactful role on his life and development once he crossed paths with fsociety.
After the show ended, she played a character in the horror-leaning remake of “Fantasy Island.” Other than that, she’s remained pretty low-key on social media, sharing small snippets of her life such as the birth of her nephew.
Martin Wallström
Martin played Tyrell Wellick, a big shot at the nefarious E Corp that fsociety was dedicated to taking down.
Since the show ended, the Swedish actor has had roles in shows like “Beck” and “Headhunters.” He also had a role in the 2022 movie “Hilma.” When he isn’t acting, he lends his voice to reading audiobooks in his native Swedish language. To date, you can hear him narrate 38 different books.
You can catch more USA Network original series on Peacock right now.
