Undertaker And Skateboard Legend Tony Hawk Take 'Weird,' '90s Throwback Pic Together
The Undertaker and Tony Hawk is the duo we didn't know we needed!
It only took decades, but finally, two of the biggest celebrities and pop-culture phenomenons of the 1990s and early 2000s have come together for one nostalgic photo that broke the internet and has fans freaking out. Tony Hawk, arguably the greatest skateboarder of all time, posted a picture on Instagram with The Undertaker, arguably one of the greatest WWE Superstars of all time.
Both legends, who are two of the best to ever participate in their respective sports, posed together for a photo, which was captioned by Hawk on Instagram as, “My life is [still] weird. And I am more thankful than ever.”
Hawk and Undertaker actually have a similar past when it comes to their professional careers. Hawk became a pro skateboarder at the ripe young age of 14 before his 30-year career caught fire. He entered 17 X-Games competitions, leaving with 16 medals and was also the reigning National Skateboard Association World Champion for 12 straight years. Hawk changed the sport of skateboarding forever, just like The Undertaker changed wrestling.
The Deadman is a seven-time World Champion and, of course, remained undefeated at WrestleMania for 21 straight years. His character revolutionized professional wrestling gimmicks forever as the future Hall of Famer carried WWE on his back for years and dominated all competitions.
To think that both of these athletes were lighting the world ablaze in their respective sports at the same time but have never crossed paths until now is a missed opportunity that clearly, Undertaker and Hawk wanted to correct. The Birdman’s post also featured a second picture, one with him, Kevin Hart, and Ludacris! Tony Hawk clearly has some cool friends, but for us, hanging with The Undertaker takes the cake.
Both Hawk and Undertaker looked to be in great shape, with Undertaker sporting his signature hat and cloak while Hawk stood with his cane, looking as chill as ever. If we are talking about duos we didn’t know we needed, Tony Hawk and The Undertaker may top that list.
You can watch all of your favorite Undertaker moments on the WWE Network on Peacock!
