WWE's Crown Jewel 2024: How to Watch and What to Expect
WWE's next PLE is just around the corner. Heres what you need to know about Crown Jewel 2024.
Mark your calendars WWE fans becuase the next of its Premium Live Events, Crown Jewel 2024, is just around the corner!
On Saturday, November 2, WWE will present its latest international Premium Live Event. Here's everything fans should know about the big event.
What is WWE Crown Jewel?
Crown Jewel is the latest Premium Live Event that is guaranteed to knock the socks off the WWE Universe — and this year's edition will be the most historic event ever.
It's long been an event that has featured some never-before-seen moments. For example, WWE Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels famously came out of retirement for one night only to compete at Crown Jewel 2018:
Who knows what WWE has in store for its fans in 2024? What will be this year's "Shawn Michaels moment?" The WWE Universe will find out soon enough — but something tells us fans should expect a rollercoaster ride of action and performances!
Where and when will Crown Jewel 2024 take place?
Crown Jewel 2024 will take place on Saturday, November 2, 2024, at the Mohammed Abdo Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
It will be the fourth time WWE will hold an event at the Mohammed Abdo Arena following 2020's Super Show-Down and Crown Jewel in 2021 and 2023.
How to watch Crown Jewel 2024
Like all WWE Premium Live Events, Crown Jewel 2024 will be broadcast live exclusively on Peacock for fans in the United States on Saturday, November 2, 2024.
However, the broadcast will begin at a far earlier time than fans are accustomed to — but don't worry, that's not a bad thing! Crown Jewel 2024 will have an early start time: 1 p.m. ET! (Yes, that means West Coast fans will be treated to an extra-special morning edition of WWE — how fun!)
There's something about watching WWE in the middle of the day that puts a smile on our faces, no matter where the event is occurring!
As usual, fans can also expect an official Crown Jewel Kickoff Show in the hours leading up to the event airing on Peacock.
WWE introduces a new Crown Jewel-exclusive championship for the 2024 event
In a surprise unveiling ceremony during October's Bad Blood, Triple H revealed the Crown Jewel Championship — a title that will be up for grabs every year in matches between the top men's and women's champions at the event moving forward!
The championship itself looks larger than life. In other words, it's huge — and Triple H put it best when he spoke about the significance of WWE's newest title.
"50 carats of diamonds that will signify the winner as the best of the best," he said.
The first WWE Superstar to take possession of the Crown Jewel Championship will make history — and fortunately, fans won't have to wait much longer to witness it.
Two unprecedented champion vs. champion matches highlight the event
On November 2, the Crown Jewel Championship will be on the line for the first time in two of the biggest matches in WWE history!
The inaugural men's champion will be decided in an Undisputed WWE Champion vs. World Heavyweight Champion bout — currently slated to be a first-time ever match between Cody Rhodes and Gunther — while the first women's Crown Jewel championship bout will feature the WWE Women's Champion taking on the Women's World Champion — Nia Jax and Liv Morgan, respectively.
These two larger-than-life, WrestleMania-esque matches are just the tip of the iceberg, however. Champion vs. Champion matches don't come around too often, and fans will be treated to two of them at Crown Jewel.
The milestone event will feature many more high-profile matches. After all, it wouldn't be a WWE Premium Live Event without matches that the WWE Universe can't see every week on Raw and SmackDown!
November 2 is guaranteed to be a historic date for the WWE Universe — don't miss out.
