Jake Paul Provides Encouraging Update On Brother Logan Paul's Knee Injury
Jake Paul revealed in an interview with DAZN Boxing that Logan is doing better than expected.
The WWE Universe is still in a state of collective shock after Logan Paul’s unbelievable performance against Roman Reigns earlier this month at Crown Jewel, where, although he fell just short of winning the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship, he proved to his doubters that he belongs in the ring. According to Logan, he suffered a serious leg injury halfway through the match but finished the bout anyway.
The gutsy performance earned praise from former and current WWE stars, but left Logan with undisclosed injuries to his MCL, ACL, and Meniscus. Logan’s younger brother and undefeated boxer, Jake Paul, was ringside for part of that match, and tried to help fend off The Bloodline when they got involved.
Jake, who says he wants to come back to WWE one day sooner rather than later, spoke with DAZN Boxing about his boxing career, but also gave fans the first solid update on his older brother’s condition.
“He’s doing better than expected. They thought it was supposed to be ACL, but it just turned out to be MCL and meniscus, which is better. He's rehabbing it in Los Angeles and hoping for the best, man," Jake revealed.
Although the injury is still very severe, ACL injuries are often the most devastating. Suffering from two serious injuries as opposed to three will hopefully work in favor of The Maverick and he can return to the ring as soon as possible. Logan took to his “ImPaulsive” podcast earlier this week where he confirmed that the injury is indeed “very bad,” although he didn’t reveal an exact diagnosis.
Also earlier in the week, rumors of a Logan Paul vs. John Cena match at next year’s WrestleMania 39 event began running rampant on social media, so that could be where Logan is aiming for next. First though, he must rehab his knee injury and we wish him a speedy recovery.
In the meantime, you can rewatch all three of Logan Paul’s matches on the WWE Network on Peacock!
