WWE Superstar Becky Lynch Spent Saint Patrick’s Day Visiting the White House
Becky Lynch took advantage of a huge honor ahead of her WrestleMania showdown with Rhea Ripley!
It was quite a weekend for a fan-favorite Superstar! While most of the WWE Universe was celebrating Saint Patrick’s Day in their own ways, Becky Lynch took advantage of an invitation of a lifetime. The Man was invited to the White House to celebrate her Irish heritage in style!
With her WrestleMania 40 showdown against Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley just a few weeks away, Becky parlayed her immense global popularity to stop by the White House and say hello to the current United States President, Joe Biden. The Man took to social media over the weekend to commemorate the historic occasion – and we must admit, Becky looks right at home in the White House.
Why Was Becky Lynch at the White House?
As one of the most well-known Irish-born athletes – and people – in the world, Becky Lynch receiving an invitation to the White House on Saint Patrick’s Day makes perfect sense. Alongside a few other notable Irishmen, Becky was invited to participate in a celebration to honor their accomplishments. Trust us; the pictures have to be seen to be believed! In a social media post, Becky captioned:

Rhea Ripley Breaks the Hearts of the WWE Universe, Announces Engagement
“It was an honor to represent Ireland & WWE for St. Patrick’s Day at the White House,” she wrote. “[President Biden] said Becky Balboa is winning it all in Philly, had myself a pint, and even classed up the library with a little gift.”
WWE Universe, there you have it: the presidential WrestleMania prediction is locked in. The President of the United States is calling for a new Women’s World Champion once the dust clears in Philadelphia (sorry, Rhea Ripley).
Every WWE fan owes it to themselves to scroll through the handful of photos Becky posted to her Instagram account – there’s even a classic shot of her enjoying a well-deserved pint of Guinness! Who would’ve thought the White House knew how to throw a fantastic St. Paddy’s Day party?
What Item Did Becky Lynch Leave in the White House Library?
Naturally, Becky couldn’t leave the White House without leaving a permanent imprint on the library! She revealed on social media that she left a copy of her upcoming memoir, Becky Lynch: The Man: Not Your Average Average Girl, in the presidential library alongside countless classic works.
We love how Becky couldn’t help but place her book among some of the greatest literary works in history. (Although, honestly, why does the White House have two separate copies of The Life and Times of William Howard Taft? Seems like one should be plenty, no?)
Becky’s upcoming book has reportedly been in the works for years and will be released and available for purchase on March 26, 2024 – just a few weeks before WrestleMania 40.
Speaking of WrestleMania, the WWE Universe is well aware that Becky Lynch has a date with destiny in the form of a Women’s World Championship match against Rhea Ripley coming up. It marks the first time the Superstars have met in a one-on-one match since a truncated bout in NXT nearly five years ago. Five years is a long time, and both competitors are vastly different people than they were back then.
It’s a showdown that has the potential to be the best match of a WrestleMania lineup that is already proving to be one for the ages!
What Other WWE Superstars Have Visited the White House?
Becky Lynch isn’t the only WWE Superstar to say hi to the current sitting United States President. Triple H and his family visited the White House in 2017, which resulted in a photo that still makes the rounds today.
Obviously, an invitation to the White House is something only genuinely legendary WWE Superstars receive – and if you ask us, it doesn’t get more legendary than Triple H and Becky Lynch.
Now, with her White House visit behind her, Becky Lynch will be forced to tackle the task at hand: her championship match with Rhea Ripley at WrestleMania.
Conventional wisdom suggests Rhea Ripley’s epic title reign could be seriously jeopardized. After all, we’re not seeing the Prime Minister of Australia endorsing the Women’s World Champion at WrestleMania or anything like that. While the matchup is about as evenly matched as the WWE Universe could hope for, we think that pint of Guinness gave The Man an extra dose of confidence!
In just a few weeks, the world will find out whether Becky’s historic visit to the White House fueled her to another title or ultimately served as a needless distraction.
You can tune in to Peacock to watch WrestleMania on April 6 and 7. In the meantime, catch up on all things WWE Universe on Peacock.
