Martha Stewart's Super Boozy Eggnog Recipe Has Carson Daly Reeling: 'I'm Going To Steal This'
Martha Stewart's favorite holiday drink packs quite a punch, even for a seasoned drinker like "Barmageddon" star Carson Daly.
This holiday season, Carson Daly learned that none other than Martha Stewart could keep up with him, Blake Shelton, and Nikki Bella at Ole Red in Nashville the moment he sampled a bit of her famous eggnog, which is filled to the brim with alcohol.
We all know that Carson enjoys a good cocktail. Whether it’s his famous Carson-Rita (extra Fresca) or one of the infamous concoctions he makes as the resident bartender on USA Network's “Barmageddon,” he’s always down for a drink. However, during her latest appearance on the “Today” show, Stewart whipped up a batch of her (in)famous holiday eggnog that sent the host reeling.

“Our crew is passing out like flies,” he joked at the top of her holiday segment on the show. “We’ll be down to one camera ... This’ll be shot on an iPhone in about 5 minutes.”
As the famous lifestyle and home decor master discussed some do-it-yourself holiday crafts that families around the country can do, Daly joked that he was calling the entire cast, including Stewart, a cab home since he fully expected all of them to be three sheets to the wind after any more of her eggnog.
He’s not wrong. Unlike most eggnog recipes, Stewart’s pulls no punches in making sure it packs a wallop. Her recipe, which can be found on the “Today” website, includes not one but three generous servings of different alcoholic beverages. Specifically, dark rum, cognac, and bourbon. Then it’s a whole mess of delicious holiday flavors and dairy that’s sure to get the family feeling loose and festive this holiday season.
“I’m going to steal this,” the “Barmageddon” star says. “I’m guilty of just adding a little bourbon, this is three different alcohols!”
With drink-making skills like this and a clear ability to hold her liquor (or at the very least get those around her responsibly tipsy), perhaps we’ll see the 81-year-old star make her way to “Barmageddon” for five rounds of bar games and even more rounds of drinks. At the very least, she could show Daly a new trick or two behind the bar.
Tune into “Barmageddon” every Monday at 11/10c on USA Network. You can catch more from Martha Stewart on Peacock right now.
