Carson Daly Sits Down with Meghan Markle and Prince Harry to Talk Mental Health
Barmageddon star Carson Daly sat down with former Suits star Meghan Markle and her husband, Prince Harry, about a cause that's important to them both.
It was like a team-up of the USA Network stars for World Mental Health Day in New York City this week. While attending events with her husband, Prince Harry, former Suits star Meghan Markle sat down with current Barmageddon and The Voice star Carson Daly during a panel discussion about a topic that's near and dear to all of their hearts.
The trio, along with Surgeon General Vivek Murthy, had a candid and emotional discussion about the issue of parenting in the digital age. Meghan and Harry discussed creating spaces for parents to come together and deal with these issues head-on. Meanwhile, Daly got personal about his own mental health journey, giving a speech elsewhere in the conference about what he did and how he learned to manage his panic attacks.

The discussion took place during the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s Archewell Foundation summit about navigating mental health challenges online on Tuesday. During the summit, Meghan, 42, and Harry, 39, highlighted their roles as parents to son Prince Archie, 4, and Princess Lilibet, 2. Carson shared more on Today about the event where he described what it was like to have a sit down with the royals.
"By the way, they were so great. People asked me, 'How were the royals?' I didn't know whether to curtsey or hug, like, what's the royal rules and whatnot? And Meghan [said], 'Bring it in,' [with a] big hug," Carson revealed.
Though its ninth and final season aired on USA Network in 2019, the legal dramedy is experiencing a huge resurgence in 2023 due to it streaming on Peacock. The USA Network original series, which originally ran from 2011 to 2019, stars Patrick J. Adams as Mike Ross, a man who convinced a New York City law firm to give him a job despite him being a college dropout who never passed the LSAT. Markle starred on Suits for 7 seasons in the role of Rachel Zane, an attorney and eventual love interest to Ross. However, she later left the show before it's finale after getting into a relationship with Harry and agreeing to marry him and become a member of the high-profile royal family.
Meanwhile, Daly has been co-starring on Barmageddon alongside Blake Shelton and Nikki Garcia. The show is returning for Season 2 on USA Network. Together, they will return back to Shelton’s Nashville, Tennessee bar, Ole Red, where their celebrity friends compete in a set of heightened bar games for bragging rights.
Season 2 of Barmageddon premieres Monday Nov. 13. Catch up on all seasons of Suits on Peacock.
