Love Island USA Host Sarah Hyland Exits After 2 Seasons
Sarah Hyland shared the news that she will not be returning to host Love Island USA on Peacock.
Love Island USA will look a little different when it returns to Peacock for Season 6. After two seasons, host Sarah Hyland confirmed on social media that she isn’t returning to the villa. Hyland originally joined the dating competition for Season 4 and presided over the most recent Season 5.
Her hosting duties saw her got to whatever exotic location the Islanders were filming in and usher them through the competition's beats like Casa Amor and various eliminations and recouplings. With her departure, what happens next for Love Island USA? Here’s what we know so far.

Why Isn’t Sarah Hyland Hosting Love Island USA?
Hyland took to her Instagram Stories on March 28 to share that she just "got a text," which references how Islanders are contacted about show details on Love Island. She continued saying, “I’m disappointed the news had to break this way but it is in fact true that I will not be returning to the island this summer.”
She added that the reason is because she has committed to filming another project that conflicts with the shooting dates for Love Island USA. So, while hosting the series is still near and dear to her heart, the Modern Family star is, of course, still a working, in-demand actress who simply couldn't make time to travel to the Island to host for another season. However, the show likely won't go on without a host, and Season 6 is definitely coming.
Who is Hosting Love Island USA Season 6?
There had been rumors swirling around on the internet, but it wasn't until March 29 that Peacock confirmed what everyone was already thinking, Vanderpump Rules star Ariana Madix will be the replacement host for Sarah Hyland for Love Island USA Season 6 at least.
When does Love Island USA Return?
There’s no word yet on when Love Island USA Season 6 will premiere. However, Hyland did hint in her post that shooting takes place this summer, so stay tuned!
