Glen & Glenda's Murderous Nightmare In 'Chucky' Season 2 Explained
Chucky and Tiffany's twins are plagued by a nightmare from "Seed of Chucky" in the latest episodes of Season 2.
Since their return to the franchise in “Chucky” Season 2, Glen and Glenda have been plagued by nightmares of them committing a violent act. Specifically, setting a woman on fire. While the twins struggle to figure out why they’re both being haunted by the same dream, savvy fans of Don Mancini’s movie franchise already know the answer.
Before they were played by Lachlan Watson in the TV show, Glen and Glenda first appeared as the titular “Seed of Chucky” in the fifth movie in the franchise as a single doll voiced by Billy Boyd. The doll is initially named Glen but notes they’re not really sure if they’re a boy or a girl. They say at times they feel like both.
Later on in the movie, it’s revealed this is more than just a feeling Glen has. When their parents, Chucky and Tiffany, kidnap Jennifer Tilly from her Los Angeles home, the actress’ assistant Joan (Hannah Spearritt) realizes something is up and goes over to Tilly’s place to investigate. This proves to be an ill-fated trip.

Joan enters the bedroom to find Tilly and her chauffeur tied to the bed in preparation for a voodoo ritual. Chucky creeps up behind her with a knife. However, before he can do his typical murder thing, a doll dressed in Tiffany’s clothing runs into the room and lights Joan aflame using a lighter and some hairspray.
This is the moment that Glen and Glenda keep dreaming about. It is revealed that Glenda is another soul living in the doll’s body with Glen. Unlike Glen, Glenda has more of an edge to them and shares their parents' proclivity for murder. Fortunately, Tilly gives birth to twins and Tiffany is able to transfer her soul into the actress and her twins' souls into the babies. Since then, she’s spent years raising them, but their memory seems to have been affected. Likely due to the trauma of the whole thing.
In “Chucky” Season 2, neither Glen nor Glenda seems to remember their adventures in “Seed of Chucky.” They also seem to be under the impression their mom is actually an Oscar-nominated actress and not a murderer. As a result, they’re having nightmares about the moment Glenda — who was using their mutual doll body at the time — burned Joan alive in Jennifer Tilly’s house.
Fans will have to tune into “Chucky” Season 2 on USA Network every Wednesday at 9/8c to find out more about Glen and Glenda's journies.
