Bianca Belair, Asuka Team Up Against 'Big Time Baby' Becky Lynch Ahead Of Hell In A Cell
Becky Lynch called Asuka a "selfish, entitled monster," but ended up on the receiving end of an Asuka/Bianca Belair beatdown.
It looks like the upcoming Hell in a Cell triple-threat match for the Raw Women's Championship is getting more and more interesting. The bout will pit current titleholder Bianca Belair against challengers Asuka and Becky Lynch in a winner-take-all match.
But on WWE’s Monday Night Raw, Belair and Asuka teamed up against “Big Time Becks” ahead of their June 5 battle.
Lynch began the evening rehashing, once again, the 2020 Money in the Bank event in which she gave Asuka her Raw Women's Championship because she was pregnant.
“I generously gave Asuka the greatest gift of her career,” Lynch said from the ring, with frantic energy, on Monday night. “I handed her my title. But even then, I had a plan. I knew Asuka was the best, but I knew I could beat her. So my plan was that Asuka would hold the title until I came back but then I would beat her and hold it and nobody would ever be able to touch me ever again. But what I realized is that I created a selfish, entitled monster by handing Asuka that title and I let her get accustomed to getting handed things.”
Suffice it to say, Asuka wasn’t a fan of Lynch's interpretation of events. She came out and called “Big Time Becks” a “Big Time Baby,” and began mocking her with fake crying.
And soon enough, Belair came out too, telling Lynch that she couldn't want to give her a “piece of my mind” at Hell in a Cell on Sunday.
She told Lynch that her title is not going anywhere and that if she has to, “I will 100 percent drop you just like I did at WrestleMania.”
An enraged Lynch responded by unleashing a cheap shot to Belair's face. But Asuka came right to the Champion’s defense, and soon she and Belair were both going off on “Big Time Becks,” ultimately tossing her from the ring.
Will they find moments of cooperation at Hell in a Cell? We'll soon find out. But only one Superstar will be hoisting the title when the dust settles.
