WWE Superstar Kane Shows Off Impressive Workout Transformation At Age 55
Glenn Jacobs, better known as Kane, is feeling good at 55 after getting in incredible (ring-ready?) shape.
WWE superstar Kane, known outside the ring as Glenn Jacobs, took to Twitter over the weekend to show the world that his career in politics has not made him sacrifice his ring-ready physique.
In fact, after recently turning 55, the WWE Hall of Famer may well be in the best shape of his life. Jacobs shared an image of himself with no shirt on, flexing and highlighting his rock-hard abs and bulging muscles. Unlike his persona in the wrestling ring, the man is all smiles and graciously thanks fellow wrestling Superstar Diamond Dallas Page (Page Joseph Falkinburg) for giving him a workout program that works for him.
“Thanks to @DDPYoga and low carbs for making 55 look (and feel) this good!” he wrote.
According to its website, DDPYoga is a workout program that was developed by Page after years of injuries from giving it his all in the ring rendered him unable to work out in the way he was accustomed to. Fortunately, he found a way to still make fitness a core part of his life and now passes that knowledge onto people such as Kane.
The Devil's Favorite Demon was always a physically imposing specimen, but it seems he's only gotten more sculpted with age.
Many may remember Kane as one-half of the “Brothers of Destruction” alongside The Undertaker (Mark William Calaway). Together, their storyline of supernatural brothers born of evil and mayhem dominated the WWE in the 1990s and goes down in history as one of the best feuds — and, later, tag teams — in wrestling history. Since then, he’s gone on to have a lucrative career in the organization, last stepping into the ring in 2021 at Royal Rumble, according to CinemaBlend.
Soon after, he was inducted into the Hall of Fame. Despite being a Hall of Famer, though, he has not formally retired from pro wrestling, so one wonders if his impressive physique has been sculpted for one more return to the ring.
Then again, Jacobs might be too busy to jump back into the sport. In 2018 he was elected mayor of Knox County, Tennessee, and Knox News has since signaled that he plans to run for re-election in 2022.
