Here's Everything Happening During WrestleMania Weekend (and How to Watch it All)
Prepare yourself for an unforgettable extended weekend of WWE action for WrestleMania 40!
Clear your calendars – WrestleMania weekend 2024 is here!
The upcoming historic weekend revolves around the two-night WrestleMania 40 Premium Live Event. Still, the WWE Universe should know that there is much, much more to look forward to other than the biggest WrestleMania in history. It will be an unforgettable weekend filled with WWE memories that will last a lifetime.
Thankfully, it doesn't matter if you'll be in the City of Brotherly Love or watching from the comfort of our living room couch – catching all the WrestleMania weekend action is easier than you think. Here's everything you need to know about every official WWE event planned for this historic weekend!
WWE SmackDown
Friday, April 5, 2024
WrestleMania weekend officially kicks off with the April 5 episode of SmackDown at 8 p.m. ET. While the official lineup has been set in stone for weeks now, any changes or additions to WrestleMania 40 will be announced during SmackDown itself.

Of course, if the April 1 episode of Monday Night Raw was any indication, we don't expect any WWE Superstars to "take the night off" – many will use SmackDown to get mentally AND physically prepared going into Saturday and Sunday! After the chaos that transpired on Monday, we're sure the drama will spill over into Friday – we wouldn't have it any other way.
How to Watch the 2024 WWE Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony
Ever since the inductees were announced back in March, we've been eagerly anticipating the induction ceremony itself. WWE doesn't have many opportunities to pay respects for the pioneers who paved the way for modern professional wrestling, but the annual Hall of Fame ceremony never disappoints in that respect.
Headlined by Paul Heyman, the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2024 is arguably the most deserving in history. We don't know what we're looking forward to more – Paul Heyman's speech or the speech of the man who will be inducting him, Roman Reigns.
As usual, the WWE Universe should expect a fair amount of WWE drama to serve as a precursor to WrestleMania. Who can forget Rhea Ripley and Dominik Mysterio memorably walking out of the arena when Rey Mysterio began his induction speech during the 2023 event?
No matter what happens, we know there won't be a dry eye in the building as WWE honors some of the wrestling industry's biggest legends. It happens immediately after SmackDown – at approximately 10 pm ET on Peacock!
How to Watch NXT Stand & Deliver
Saturday, April 6, 2024
The men and women who call the Raw and SmackDown locker rooms their home aren't the only athletes who will be competing in the ring this weekend – your favorite NXT Superstars will take center stage on Saturday for an extra-special edition of NXT Stand & Deliver!
NXT Stand & Deliver 2024 will be broadcast live on Peacock earlier than the WWE Universe is used to at noon ET. That's right, it's a lunchtime edition of nonstop NXT action! The event is headlined by Trick Williams and Carmelo Hayes, who are facing off one-on-one for the first time. Not since the days of Johnny Gargano vs. Tomasso Ciampa has an NXT rivalry been so callous, physical, and personal. The WWE Universe should be suitably pumped for what Trick and Carmelo will do with all eyes on them.
To further up the ante, all major NXT titles will be on the line Saturday afternoon, including the NXT Championship, NXT Women's Title, and the North American Championship. For fans of the next generation of WWE Superstars, it won't get any better than Stand & Deliver – after all, it's NXT's version of WrestleMania.
How to Watch WrestleMania Night One
WrestleMania 40 officially kicks off with Night One on Saturday at 7 pm ET – only on Peacock! While all eyes will be on the matches of WrestleMania Night Two, Saturday's lineup is no slouch. From the Intercontinental Title match to Jimmy and Jey Uso finally squaring off to the historic main event tag match featuring The Rock and Roman Reigns taking on Seth Rollins and Cody Rhodes, the WWE Universe has plenty of WWE action to look forward to.
We'd love for every member of the WWE Universe to tune in to every WrestleMania weekend event, but if your schedule doesn't allow you to sit down for every event, your next best bet is to carve out time to watch both nights of WrestleMania 40. It's quite simply the most exciting night of the year. It's when your favorite WWE Superstars compete at the highest level to attain something unattainable for most athletes – a true WrestleMania moment.
How to Watch the 2024 WWE Slammy Awards
Sunday, April 7, 2024
Hosted by WWE Superstars Big E and Cathy Kelley from WWE World, the pop-up immersive fan experience will occur at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia – the home of WrestleMania 40.
The Slammy Awards is the WWE version of the ESPY Awards – your favorite (and most hated) WWE Superstars will be honored for better or worse in categories like the OMG Moment of the Year, Best Entrance, and Match of the Year. The WWE Universe has been voting for the winners over the past few weeks, and on April 7, the 2024 Slammy Award winners will be announced. Don't worry; we're told we'll see many Superstars attend this event – it should be considered just as "can't-miss" as WrestleMania 40 itself!
(For the record, we expect the Best Entrance category to be as fiercely competitive as any main event match taking place in the ring this weekend.)
While the exact broadcast time has yet to be determined, the awards ceremony will occur across WWE's official social media platforms, such as its YouTube channel, Facebook, X, Twitch, and TikTok accounts. That's right; on April 7, WWE officially takes over the internet! Let's be honest: if you're scrolling through your feed in the hours before WrestleMania Night Two, you can't miss the 2024 WWE Slammy Awards.
How to Watch WrestleMania Night 2
If you've been waiting for a reason to subscribe to Peacock, well, there isn't a better one than experiencing WrestleMania Night Two. Headlined by not one but two larger-than-life main events (both top men's singles titles will be on the line), WrestleMania Night Two begins at 7 pm ET exclusively on Peacock.
Will Cody Rhodes finally finish the story and defeat Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship after coming up agonizingly short at last year's event? Will Drew McIntyre be the man who takes the World Heavyweight Title from Seth Rollins? How does The Rock fit into both these matches? Countless questions don't have answers going into WrestleMania weekend, but one thing is certain:
It's going to be a heck of a ride. It all comes down to this, ladies and gentlemen – it doesn't get any bigger, more explosive, or any more memorable than what will occur on Sunday night, April 7, on Peacock.
How to Watch Raw After WrestleMania
Monday, April 8, 2024
Oh, were you expecting to be able to catch your breath on Monday? Not on WWE's watch! Just hours after the smoke clears from the biggest WrestleMania of all time, the WWE Universe will be treated to one of the most fun events on the annual WWE calendar: Raw After WrestleMania.
At 8 pm ET on USA Network, WrestleMania weekend will be capped off with another historic edition of the most unpredictable night in WWE! While WrestleMania will serve as the culmination of many of the most heart-stopping storylines in WWE, Raw After WrestleMania is all about one thing: fun. In fact, WWE usually goes out of its way to make the annual episode of Raw extra-special – don't be shocked if a few shocking surprises occur!
Only when Raw After WrestleMania goes off the air are you allowed to catch your breath.
It's shaping up to be a weekend for the ages.
You can tune in to Peacock to watch WrestleMania on April 6 and 7. In the meantime, catch up on all things WWE Universe on Peacock.
