“Race For The Championship” not only offers insight into the lives of NASCAR’s Cup Series drivers, it also puts their loved ones front and center. For example, Episode 4 sees Ricky Stenhouse Jr. preparing for an important race with his then-fiancée, Madyson Joye Goodfleisch.
Stenhouse Jr. announced in November 2021 that he proposed to Goodfleisch. On Twitter, he revealed he took his longtime girlfriend on a hike at the famous Cathedral Rock sandstone mountain in Sedona, Arizona where he popped the question at the summit.
“Yesterday was an amazing day, got to get some new hikes in together and now get to spend the rest of our life together. Madyson said YES!!!” he tweeted at the time.
Otherwise, the duo keeps things relatively private when it comes to their relationship. They began dating some time after his 2017 split with longtime ex-girlfriend and fellow professional driver Danica Patrick.
Who is Madyson Goodfleisch?
According to her LinkedIn profile, Goodfleisch’s career took her into the world of NASCAR around that time when she began working for the famous Richard Childress Racing team as a licensing and retail manager. She quickly moved up and became the manager of partnerships, marketing, and licensing before departing the company in 2021. Now she works as the director of partnerships for the Charlotte, North Carolina-based media company Marty Snider & Associates.
Despite the change, she’s still in the world of professional racing. The company’s website notes that, in addition to many Fortune 500 companies, its public relations and media clients include a partnership with NBC Sports producing its flagship daily NASCAR program, NASCAR America. So, when she’s not on the track rooting on her soon-to-be husband, Goodfleisch is working hard to bring NASCAR to the mainstream.
Besides professional racing, she, like Stenhouse Jr., has a deep for love of animals. Together they spend a lot of time at his Slide Job Ranch taking care of animals that include longhorns, donkeys, and more.
In 2018, NBC Sports reported that Stenhouse Jr.’s ranch is kept in the family, with his sister living on the property. It’s also got space for his parents to retire. In addition to room for their animals, the Mooresville, North Carolina ranch also has some space for dirt biking.
All in all, the duo seem like a perfect fit for each other given how many mutual interests they share.

Stenhouse and Goodfleisch officially tied the knot on Oct. 26, 2022 along the banks of the Ashley River in Charleston, South Carolina, according to People.
Stenhouse's father, Rick Sr., served as his best man and fellow NASCAR star Kyle Larson was one of his six groomsmen, the outlet reported. NASCAR drivers Harrison Burton, Denny Hamlin, Zane Smith, Todd Gilliland, Riley Herbst and Myatt Snider were also in attendance.
One of the highlights was Goodfleisch, who told People she sang in bands during college, sharing her father-daughter dance with her dad to her very own cover version of the Abby Anderson tune "Daddy," which she recorded with an assist from Nashville music producer Jon Randall.
