Race to Instagram and hit that follow button to keep up with the 18 contestants on the adventure competition series.
The race is on! Race to Survive: New Zealand, USA Network’s latest installment in the wilderness adventure reality competition series, is airing new episodes on Monday nights. The show, which follows nine teams of two as they attempt to be the first ones to make it across 150 miles of New Zealand’s harsh terrain in the hopes of winning the $500,000 prize, will push the contestants to their limits.

Part of the fun of a show like this is getting to know the competitors so that their triumphs (or struggles) will have extra meaning. As all of the contestants are avid outdoorsmen and women, their social media accounts tend to be full of cool pictures of their adventures, and there’s likely new content from their experiences on Race to Survive: New Zealand in the pipeline. Below, read on to find out where you can follow all 18 contestants on Instagram.
Rhandi Orme and Ashley Paulson
Rhandi and Ashley are ultramarathon runners, and that endurance expertise should come in handy while traversing across New Zealand. The pair, who are from Utah, actually met on social media. As you might expect, their Instagram accounts are largely about their training and travels. Ashley's Instagram can be found here and Rhandi's here.
Mikhail Martin and Steffen Jean-Pierre
Mikhail and Steffen are both professional climbers who met during a climbing event a few years back before they went pro. On Instagram, both men tend to post pictures from their climbing excursions, both out in the beautiful wilderness and inside climbing gyms. Follow Mikhail on Instagram here and Steffen here.
Creighton Baird and Paulina Peña
Despite being recently divorced, Creighton and Paulina are competing on the same Race to Survive team and are on good terms with one another. (Let’s hope they stay on good terms even with everything New Zealand throws at them.) The former couple are avid adventurers and their Instagram accounts are full of pictures of their various excursions. Here’s Creighton's Instagram and here’s Paulina's.
Bronsen Iverson and Ryan Stewart
It’s a family affair for this Race to Survive team, as Ryan is Bronsen's father-in-law. They’re from Utah and their Instagram accounts are full of pictures of life working on a cattle ranch as well as lots of posts from elk-hunting trips. Follow Bronsen here and Ryan here.
Oliver Dev and Spencer "Corry" Jones
Oliver and Corry, who both live in Wyoming, are close friends who met while they were working as kayak guides in Maui. They’ve gone on to have plenty of adventures together since, so hopefully they’re well-prepared for a dash across New Zealand. Expect lots of travel photos from their social media accounts. Oliver's Instagram, which you can find here, tends to have more pictures of beautiful scenery while there’s a bit more whitewater rafting content on Corry’s account, located here.
Donald "Jeff" Watterson Jr. and Coree Woltering
Coree is an inspiring, openly gay ultra-marathon runner and Jeff is his coach. Coree's Instagram, here, has lots of pictures of his training and races. There’s running content on Jeff's account, too, but he tends to post more pictures of his personal life and family.
Ethan Greenberg and Tyrie Mann Merrill
Ethan and Tyrie are both smokejumpers, meaning their job is to parachute out of planes into the wilderness to fight forest fires right when they’ve started. There’s plenty of skydiving content to be found on Ethan's Instagram and Tyrie's Instagram along with images of their earthbound adventures and some personal pics, too.

Emilio Navarro and Heather Sischo
Rhode Island residents Emilio and Heather have been friends and training partners for six years. Emilio's Instagram has a lot of posts where he prepares for various ultramarathons; Heather rarely posts on her Instagram account but that could change now that she’s on Race to Survive.

Nikola "Nik" Milutinovic and Kennedy Taylor
Nik and Kennedy became friends while working on oil rigs in Canada together — a tough job, and the fortitude they gained from that should prove valuable in New Zealand. Kennedy's Instagram, which you can follow here, is a mixture of travel pics, workout pics, and posts about life working in oil. Nik, whose account is here, doesn’t appear to be an avid poster but there are some cool travel shots to be found.
New episodes of Race to Survive: New Zealand premiere every Monday night on USA Network at 11 p.m. Eastern. Catch up on Race to Survive: Alaska on Peacock.
