Meet Temptation Island Season 5 Couple Vanessa and Roberto

Things will soon be heating up on Temptation Island Season 5 with new couples and sexy singles hoping to tempt them away from their relationships. 

Season 5 of Temptation Island is expected to shake up the show’s tried-and-true format with even more twists and turns. One of the highlights will be with a couple with a significant age gap and the issues that come with it. Vanessa Valente and Roberto Mal opened up about their issues in a video introduction ahead of the premiere. 

Vanessa, 34, a procurement manager, and Roberto, 24, a nursing student, met overseas in Qatar and what they both thought was a one-night stand ended up turning into a long-term, committed relationship. With a 10-year age gap, they aren’t without their problems. In the video introducing them to the world, Roberto hints at how everything he does annoys Vanessa.

“I’ll sneeze and she’ll be like 'Shut up.' Oh, sorry for being a human being, watch out if you sneeze around her, you might just get cursed out.” 

He goes on to say that she’s high-strung, so he mellows her out and that’s how their relationship works. Vanessa smiles big when he’s explaining that and adds that most people get frustrated but he’s adding to her life. The couple live together and have built their lives around each other, but they are hoping to gain some clarity about moving forward. 

But, with that age gap, Vanessa is a divorcee that is ready to walk down the aisle again, for the last time. 

“I’m hoping I can do that within the next six months to a year,” she says in the video. 

Roberto is feeling the pressure, but Vanessa thinks, since he’s dragging his feet, he has some reservations about their future. 

With heading to Temptation Island, Vanessa thinks Roberto could be swayed by a Latina with “a big butt.” But she thinks their love is strong enough to handle the tempting singles that will be waiting in the villas. 

“He knows what he has and what he needs in his life,” she adds. 

“I’m hoping we grow from this, and I can solidify that she’s the one for me,” says Roberto. 

Neither of them wants to waste their time. If she finds he isn’t ready to commit to marriage and fatherhood, and if he finds he wants to take it slow. 

Hopefully, while they are apart in the villas, some healthy relationship advice from host Mark L. Walberg and the temptation around every corner, Vanessa and Roberto can discover a clear path back to each other so they can spend their lives together. Or, they could decide going their separate ways will help them fulfill the desires of their hearts.
