Suits Stars Reunite At Awards Show, Discuss Future of the Show
The renewed success of Suits led to a small cast reunion at an award show and they all look better than ever.
We're only a week into the New Year, and it's already become clear that Suits is a phenomenon that will not slow down in 2024!
Last year, Suits had an unexpected resurgence on streaming and made the cast household names once again despite the show ending in 2019. Thanks to renewed interest in the show on platforms like Peacock, which is the only place to see every episode, Suits is arguably a bigger hit than it was on cable – a fact not lost on the show's stars.
The Stars of Suits Reunite at the Golden Globes
While presenting the award for Best Drama Series at the Golden Globe Awards, the Suits cast got back togther on stage, further sparking rumors of a series revival from fans and Hollywood insiders alike. Before presenting the award, stars Gabriel Macht and Patrick J. Adams couldn't help but comment on their show's newfound streaming success.

"There's nothing more dramatic or anxiety-inducing than waiting all night to hear that your category is finally arrived," Macht told the star-studded room.
"Yes, yes, that's true. It's hard to imagine having to wait so long to see your show get that kind of recognition," Adams deadpanned.
The unexpected reunion was leveled up even more when the duo was joined by their costars, Gina Torres and Sarah Rafferty.
"Don't forget about us," Rafferty reminded the guys.
If there's one thing Suits fans have shown over the past year it's that the series has been the opposite of forgotten – millions of viewers have experienced the its trademark binge-ability, wry humor, and unforgettable characters in the past year. It's a show that feels perfectly at home in the mid-2020s as it did when it debuted on USA Network in 2011.
Can Fans Expect a New Suits Season in the Future?
While speaking to Entertainment Tonight (and reported by Variety) on the Golden Globes red carpet, Gabriel Macht and Patrick J. Adams didn't shy away from acknowledging the show's streaming popularity.
"It's an amazing thing," Macht confessed. "We had some great success when the show was on. All over the world, there were people downloading it, pirating, downloading it. At a certain point, [streaming platforms] came in and said, 'Why don't we put this out there.' And it's just gotten incredible eyes. And we're very grateful for it."
With the rumor mill stirring over speculation that a Suits spinoff is in the works, Adams actually confirmed that it may be in the works after all and admitted he'd love to be part of whatever happens next!
"I think it's all in early stages," Adams said. "It's a show in the 'Suits' universe, like a 'Suits L.A.' Anyway, our fearless showrunner Aaron [Korsh is] working on that. If I got the phone call, I'd be ready to suit up again. I loved the show, I loved the character and I loved working with all these people."
It sounds like all parties are on board – for now, fans will be forced to play the waiting game.
However, as USA Insider reported a few months ago, an official live Suits reunion is already scheduled for May 2024, which will undoubtedly give fans another compelling look at the cast and creators ahead of potentially returning with new episodes in some form or another!
We must admit: As good as the stars of Suits looked on stage at the Golden Globes, they'd look even better if they were receiving instead of presenting awards.
We're sure the show's fans agree.
