Where You've Seen These 'Snake In The Grass' Contestants Before
"Snake In The Grass" features many contestants who have appeared on shows like "Survivor," "Naked and Afraid," and more.
“Snake In The Grass” promises an intense survival competition populated by a slew of former reality TV stars who have been in life-threatening wilderness situations before. While some contestants on “Snake In The Grass” come from physically demanding backgrounds such as Olympic running and stunt performing, others are qualified to take on the game simply because they’ve been on similar shows like “Survivor” or “Naked and Afraid.”
Just so that viewers aren’t distracted from the challenging mind games at play when the contestants vie for the $100,000 grand prize, we're running through where viewers may have seen some of these people in the past.
"Survivor"
A majority of the “Snake In The Grass" contestants who have been on previous game shows hail from America’s first great reality TV obsession: “Survivor.”
Malcom Freberg
Malcolm appeared on Seasons 25, 26, and 34 of “Survivor.” His best performance was in Season 25 where he made it all the way to 4th place.
Yul Kwon
Yul won Season 13 of “Survivor.” He came back again for Season 40, “Winners at War,” where he made it all the way to 14th place.
Earl Cole
Earl appeared on Season 14 of “Survivor” and managed to take home first place and the grand prize.
Trish Hegarty
Trish came in fifth place when she competed on "Survivor" Season 28.
Cirie Fields
Cirie is another person who has appeared on multiple seasons of “Survivor.” She placed third in Season 16 but was previously on Seasons 12, 20, and 34.
Stephenie LaGrossa Kendrick
Stephenie has appeared on multiple seasons of "Survivor" including Seasons 10, 11 and 20, and got 2nd place in Season 11.
"Naked and Afraid"
Former contestants on the series “Naked and Afraid” have braved the elements with far fewer provisions than they're afforded on “Snake In The Grass.”
Jeff Zausch
Jeff has appeared on both "Naked And Afraid" and the spinoff "Naked And Afraid XL," which sees former survivalists take on yet another challenge for several more days in the wild. In total, he survived a total of 204 days in the wilderness completely naked.
Lacey Jones
Lacy is a seasoned survivalist on "Naked And Afraid,” having competed for five seasons including three seasons of "Naked and Afraid XL."
"Big Brother"/"Amazing Race"
Janelle Pierzina
Janelle placed third in two seasons of “Big Brother” (Seasons 6 and 7, specifically). In addition to those, she was on the reality show in Seasons 14 and 22 as well. As if that wasn’t enough reality TV competition experience, Janelle also finished in 8th place on Season 31 of “The Amazing Race.”
Rachel Reilly
Rachel is a “Big Brother” winner from her time on Season 13. She got some experience the season prior when she placed 9th. In addition, she competed on Seasons 20, 24, and 31 of “The Amazing Race,” earning 3rd place wins in her first two runs. She also proved fear is not a factor for her when she was on “Fear Factor — Celebrity,” where she came in first.
