Meet The Cast Of The New Peacock Dating Series 'Queens Court'
Tamar Braxton, Evelyn Lozada and Nivea are the queens of "Queens Court" and they're ready to find their kings.
Looking for love is a journey, and in the new Peacock reality dating show, “Queens Court” three famous, single women are in search of their new Kings.
The show, hosted by actress Holly Robinson Peete and her husband, retired NFL quarterback, Rodney Peete, premieres in March. According to the official press release, the duo is “guiding the Queens through the ups and downs of dating 21 confident and successful prospective suitors while they develop a sisterhood supporting each other on their quests to find a King fit for a Queen.”
From starring in reality shows to topping the music charts, the three Queens holding court are familiar faces that you have seen and heard before. Here’s what we know about the cast of “Queens Court."
Tamar Braxton
Grammy-nominated R&B star Tamar Braxton is the youngest of seven siblings, including singer Toni Braxton. She is no stranger to reality television. Braxton starred in seven seasons of “Braxton Family Values” with her family, “Tamar & Vince” with her ex-husband producer Vince Herbert and she went on to win season two of “Celebrity Big Brother.” She was also a co-host on the talk show “The Real.” Braxton has been divorced twice, and in 2020 she was in a relationship with financial advisor David Adefeso. The breakup was public and nasty as the two accused each other of abuse. After that, she ended up with an Atlanta businessman in 2022, but they have since split up as well. She has one son with Vince named Logan. Tamar recently was named the host of the talk show "Dish Nation."
Evelyn Lozada
Evelyn Lozada is known for being on the “Basketball Wives” franchise. She is a mother of two, Shaniece Hairston and Carl Leo Crawford. She’s also an author. She wrote “The Wives Association: Inner Circle” and “The Perfect Date.” In 2012, she married football player Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson, but the marriage ended as quickly as it started after Johnson was arrested on a domestic battery charge against Lozada.
Nivea
Nivea is also a Grammy-nominated R&B singer. She had a string of hits in the early 2000s including her most popular one, “Don’t Mess With My Man.” Nivea debuted in the music industry on Mystikal's #1 2001 hit "Danger (Been So Long)." She was married to producer Terius “The Dream” Nash until they divorced in 2007. Nivea reconciled with her ex, rapper Lil Wayne, but they never made it down the aisle. She has four children, three with The Dream and one with Lil Wayne. Nivea most recently starred in the show “BET Presents: The Encore" and released her latest single in January of 2022 called “Virginia.”
