Where Is Every Member Of The 'Psych' Cast Now?
Since the show wrapped up in 2014, everyone from the USA Network original series "Psych" has kept pretty busy.
“Psych” wrapped up as a series in 2014 after eight seasons full of mystery and hijinks. Fortunately for fans, that wasn’t the end. There have since been three movies that kept the franchise going and allowed the actors who fans fell in love with to perform as these characters a little while longer.
Sadly, a fourth movie hasn’t been announced, even if the cast and creator are game. That means we may have seen the last of the crew from “Psych” — for awhile, anyway. Still, that doesn't mean there isn't a place to see some of your favorites from "Psych" working in the business today.
To help keep track, we're running through the cast of the hit USA Network series and show where they are now.
James Roday Rodriguez
Without a doubt, the lead of this ensemble cast is James Roday Rodriguez’s Shawn Spencer.
Since the show ended, the actor has done a handful of movies such as “Pushing Dead” and, of course, three more turns in “Psych” movies. After cutting his teeth in the director's chair on a few episodes of the show, he also took on a handful of TV projects as a director.
However, his biggest claim to fame since "Psych" has been his role as Gary Mendez in the ABC series “A Million Little Things.” The show focuses on a group of friends from Boston who are each inspired to live life to the fullest following the unexpected death of a close friend. The show recently wrapped its fourth season and was renewed for a fifth.

According to Deadline, it is expected that “A Million Little Things” will end with the upcoming fifth season, but the network has not made that official just yet.
Dule Hill
Dule Hill was the heart and soul of “Psych” in the role of Burton Guster, Shawn’s intrepid best friend who always joined him (albeit reluctantly) on all his adventures.
Thanks to his very memorable role on “The West Wing” as Charlie Young, Hill had a lucrative career before joining the cast of “Psych." Since the show ended, he’s kept very busy working in TV. He’s had runs on popular TV series like “Ballers” and “Suits.”
More recently, he stars as Bill Williams, the family patriarch in the remake of “The Wonder Years” series. After a successful 22-episode run, the network renewed the remake for Season 2.
Speaking to The New York Times, Hill noted he’s excited to use the show to explore themes that the previous series was unable to during its run from 1988 to 1993.
Maggie Lawson
Maggie Lawson played the only detective to truly recognize Shawn’s gifts (although whether or not she believed they were supernatural is debatable). Eventually, she became his wife, but the audience met her as a capable and tough-as-nails detective first.
Since the show ended, she too has kept busy in the world of television. In addition to a handful of TV movies, many of which are centered on Christmas, Lawson has been flexing her comedy muscles on popular shows like “Two and a Half Men,” “Angel From Hell,” “The Ranch,” “Outmatched,” and “Santa Clarita Diet.”
Most recently, she starred in the holiday TV movie “A Lot Like Christmas” alongside Christopher Russell. What's the most important for "Psych" fans, though, is she announced in 2021 that she is joining her co-star Timothy Omundson for a “Psych” rewatch podcast called “The Psychologists Are In.”
Timothy Omundson
In addition to joining Lawson for a podcast all about the show they both love, Osmundson got involved with voice acting in video games and other projects since “Psych” ended. He spent some time back in the world of live-action on the show “Galavant” from 2015-2016.
However, he faced some real medical problems in 2017 when he suffered a stroke that nearly killed him.
He previously told TVLine that doctors weren’t sure he’d ever walk again, let alone act. However, through determination, expert medical advice, and a lot of work in physical therapy, he was able to not only come back for two more “Psych” movies, but he had a seven-episode run on “This Is Us” before its finale.
Corbin Bernsen
Thanks to noteworthy roles in “Kiss Kiss Bang Bang” and “Major League,” he was already an in-demand star going into the show’s premiere. However, he stuck around as Shawn Spencer’s hard-nosed former police officer father and the man who taught him all his special skills.
Once the show ended, he continued to make appearances on various TV shows like “Grace and Frankie,” “Powerless,” “American Gods,” “The Resident,” and more.
His most recent recurring role is as Sinclair Dryden on the Showtime series “City on a Hill,” a decidedly darker character than Henry Spencer.
Kristen Nelson
Kristen Nelson played the interim chief of police for the Santa Barbara Police Department, Karen Vick, who was very capable at her job but still looked the other way from Shawn and Gus’ wild antics given all the cases they helped them solve.
After the show ended, she appeared as a guest star on several shows similar to “Psych” such as “NCIS: New Orleans,” “K.C. Undercover,” “This Is Us,” and “Bluff City Law.” For the most part, she seems to spend her time in the public eye championing social causes that are near and dear to her heart and, like the rest of us, waiting for her next chance to play Vick in the “Psych” franchise.
