Need More 'The Traitors'? Stream UK And Australian Versions On Peacock Now
While we wait for Season 2 of "The Traitors," you can get more from the franchise with the UK and Australian versions now streaming on Peacock.
Can’t wait for Season 2 of “The Traitors”? Well, have we got good news for you. There’s a way to get even more reality TV deception and back-stabbing drama from the franchise by way of two international versions of the show that just dropped on Peacock.
On Wednesday, the streaming platform put the U.K. and Australian versions of “The Traitors” up for any subscriber to stream in their entirety. Like the American version of the show, each international installment has one full season to enjoy. Unlike the American version, though, the U.K. and Australian shows have 12 episodes instead of 10.

All three versions are based on the format of a Dutch series titled “De Verraders,” which is Dutch for (you guessed it) “The Traitors.” The format was so successful when it premiered in 2021 that several international versions were quickly made including the three on Peacock. Other versions of the shows exist in France, New Zealand, Spain, Norway, and Belgium, and more from Denmark, Finland, and Germany are expected to hit sometime this fall, according to "Variety."
The format of each version is identical across all nationalities: A group of contestants (both fresh faces and others from reality TV) meets up at a lavish castle where a number of titular Traitors are secretly chosen among them. They’re tasked with conspiring to “murder” the Faithful contestants in the night. After a day of intense physical and mental challenges designed to raise the prize money pot, they convene at a roundtable every night to vote a member out of the house, hoping desperately they’ve sussed out a Traitor. In the end, either the Faithful or the Traitors split the prize money.
The biggest difference between the international versions and the U.S. one Peacock viewers fell in love with is that each has a different host. Sorry Alan Cumming fans, but he’s exclusively on the U.S. iteration of the show. Instead, those who flip over to Peacock to watch the other U.K. show will get to know British TV personality and show presenter Claudia Winkleman. Meanwhile, the Australian version is hosted by actor Rodger Corser, best known for Australian TV shows such as “Doctor Doctor,” “Underbelly," and “Rush.”
There is clearly something to this competition format as it’s not only swept the world in the past few years but all three versions that are currently available on Peacock have been renewed for second seasons. Earlier this month, Peacock announced the U.S. “The Traitors” will return along with a special reunion episode of the Season 1 cast hosted by Bravo’s Andy Cohen. So, as of today, there is more "The Traitors" to watch and more to come than ever before.
Catch “The Traitors,” “The Traitors UK” and “The Traitors Australia” on Peacock right now.
