The Miz Strips & Freaks Out About Returning To The WWE In Hilarious 'Miz & Mrs' Clip
Mike "The Miz" Mizanin appeared on "Dancing With The Stars" but eventually had to return to the WWE.
Mike “The Miz” Mizanin had to get himself physically and mentally prepared to return to the WWE ring in the latest episode of “Miz & Mrs.” Although he's a seasoned pro, being away for so long made his nerves almost get the better of him.
In the episode, Mike is enjoying the last days at home with his wife, Maryse, and daughters, Madison and Monroe, after his elimination from “Dancing With The Stars.” With that experience behind him, it’s time to get back to work as the WWE Superstar everyone loves to hate, which means a total lifestyle change.
In addition to having to regain the weight he lost training as a dancer, Mike also has to get his mind ready to be back on the road traveling and performing instead of sitting at home soaking up as much family time as possible.
A clip for the episode sees him doing something as simple as folding laundry with Maryse and Monroe when they start cheekily smacking him in the face with clothes. To prove he’s ready for action, he starts playfully grappling with his Superstar wife. However, she eventually gets the better of him and gets his neck in a leg lock.
“Normally my head between Maryse’s legs would turn me on, but I’m seeing my life flash before my eyes,” he jokes.
Preparing mentally isn’t The Miz’s only challenge. He also has to get his body ready for thousands of eyes to be on it while he’s in the ring. For him, that means a spray tan. He goes to a local salon with his buddy, Dolph Ziggler, who immediately makes fun of his signature tanning thong.
“I don’t know what the big deal is with my tanning thong. It’s not like, not a thing. It’s a thing,” Mike says in the clip.
However, the employee at the tanning salon begs to differ. It turns out that most people who come in aren’t necessarily willing to don a cheek-revealing thong just to get the most coverage. That said, most people don’t wrestle in the WWE ring for a living.
“Miz & Mrs” airs every Monday at 11 p.m. ET/PT on USA Network.
