'Don't You Worry': The Miz Responds To Being Called Out By Logan Paul, Talks Reality Series
Mike "The Miz" Mizanin has a lot going on right now, including a budding WWE rivalry with Logan Paul.
Mike “The Miz” Mizanin appeared on the “Today” show Friday where he discussed his USA Network reality series, “Miz & Mrs,” as well as being called out by newly signed WWE Superstar, Logan Paul.
As Season 3 of the Mizanin family’s reality show forges ahead, the A-Lister himself joined the hosts of the show to discuss how crazy his life is getting these days with his TV and WWE obligations. Fortunately, it seems the only ones who love being on-camera more than The Miz are his family members.
“It’s an absolute blast,” he told the hosts. “It brings my family together. People are like ‘Oh, I’m not sure about reality shows.’ My family is like… My dad won’t come [over] unless we’re filming. So, it’s fun, the girls like it and we just enjoy ourselves.”
“My girls are hams for the cameras,” he adds. “I wonder who they get it from.”
The Miz notes that it can be a bit exhausting juggling being a parent, a reality TV star, and a professional athlete. However, he says he thrives in that environment and that it’s a small price to pay to show the world their authentic selves.
“When we first started with this show we were like, ‘We’re going to give everything we’re going to give our lives because that’s what makes it more real and makes you feel what we’re going through in life,” he explains. “It gives you a behind-the-scenes look at what it is to be a WWE Superstar and my wife is a WWE Superstar as well so it gives you that dynamic and that’s what we’re looking for to give everyone out there."
Although their lives as Superstars are unique, he knows that what the cameras capture is far from unique to most parents.
“Honestly, a lot of people have kids and a lot of people go through the same things,” he says. “No matter who you are, or what job you have when you have kids because they don’t care.”
The Miz couldn’t escape the interview without acknowledging what will perhaps be his next big rivalry in the WWE. Although he’s been teasing a tag-team partnership with Logan Paul, the YouTube megastar signed with the WWE on Thursday and made it clear that he not only doesn’t want to team up with The Miz, but he’s out to get him.
“SummerSlam is coming. I do not stop,” The Miz concludes in his “Today” appearance. “Logan Paul called me out two days ago. So, I mean, I’ve got to figure out what I’m going to do there. Monday Night RAW I’m going to make a big announcement so don’t you worry about that.”
