The McBee Dynasty Boys Think CFO Galyna "Baby Trapped" Their Dad
Steve McBee Sr.'s treasured pug Gunner might have stirred up some relationship drama too. Well, sort of.
The drama of The McBee Dynasty: Real American Cowboys is barking mad. If the difficulties on the business side of the ranch and the revolving door of the family’s love lives weren’t enough to keep you tuned in, there’s even a juicy backstory surrounding the family pets who make precious appearances on screen during the show first's season.
Jesse and Steven Jr. McBee revealed to USA Insider how their father’s pets even got roped into some strained relationship dynamics.
The Pugs of The McBee Dynasty: Real American Cowboys Have Their Own Source of Drama
Steve Sr.’s sons willingly admit their dad “probably” loves his dogs more than them. Between Sr. and the siblings, the list of family pets is long.
“We have so many,” Steve Jr. started.

He has a German Shepherd named Sitka. Other siblings, including Jesse, have dogs as well, but Steve Jr. points out that on the farm they have chickens, lambs, goats, bison, and cattle too.
“There’s so many pugs,” Jesse continued. “That’s the problem, so my dad has a pug named Gunner.”
A picture of Gunner is placed on their dad’s nightstand, according to Steve Jr.
“He’s never had a picture of us,” Jesse said, comparing them to the beloved pup. “Never.”
The romantic relationship between their dad and the Cattle Ranch’s Chief Financial Officer Galyna is further complicated by the pugs, according to the brothers.
“Galyna had a pug and they ended up having babies, so now, there’s five or six or something,” Jesse explained, later adding: “It’s an interesting dynamic there.”
“We make fun of them,” Steve Jr. said amid laughs. “We say that Galyna baby trapped my dad with pug babies.”
Though USA Insider didn’t catch Steve Sr.’s reaction about his son’s takes on the baby trapping via adorable pugs allegations, he did mention part of his reasoning for not wanting to remarry was his lack of a desire for more kids.
Still, he seems to be handling the influx of puppies in stride. Affectionately nicknamed the "Gunman," Gunner and the pugs make cameos on some of Steve Sr.'s social posts. He even gave his followers a look at the tiny "pug mobile" he got for the dogs.
