But what happens when five elite international stars trade their lavish lifestyles for a shot at true love, incognito? Enter Love Undercover, Peacock's newest reality dating show.
What is Love Undercover about?
Love Undercover is a modern-day fairytale that follows five professional soccer players on a journey filled with love, drama, heartbreak and, of course, some self-discovery for good measure. The men must leave behind their rich and famous lifestyles and take on secret identities to date multiple single women in Los Angeles who aren’t privy to their fame overseas. That's right, while it seems like everyone famous resides in L.A., if you're an international football player, it's oddly the one place you can go for some anonymity.
Peacock released the trailer where viewers caught a glimpse of the high stake’s drama and heart pounding moments that see the guy’s risk being found out and having their true identities discovered. From tears to moments of joy, prepare for a worldwide adventure. At the end of the journey, the men will reveal who they are to the woman they respectively choose before whisking her overseas to get a glimpse at their real lifestyle and everything that goes with it. However, they'll also have to reveal their identities to the women they reject, or possibly reject them.
When does Love Undercover premiere?
Love Undercover premieres on Thursday, May 9, on Peacock with three episodes dropping each week, for a total of 10 episodes.

Who stars on Love Undercover?
There are five Premiere League players joining Love Undercover. Jamie O’Hara is 36 from the U.K. and known for his skillful midfield play for the Tottenham Hotspur and Wolverhampton Wanderers. He’s also the host of Talksport. O’Hara was previously married to former Miss England Danielle Lloyd and they divorced in 2014, and in 2022, he ended his engagement to model Elizabeth Tierney after a 7-year relationship. He has three kids with his ex-wife.
Hailing from the Netherlands is 36-year-old Ryan Babel, a winger who has represented the Netherlands national team and played for clubs like Liverpool and Ajax. He dated former Deal or No Deal model Amanza Smith, who also stars on the show Selling Sunset, for three years; they went their separate ways in 2022.
The show also features 27-year-old Lloyd Jones from the United Kingdom. He is currently a defender for Charlton Athletic. Olympic Gold Medalist Marco Fabián joins the show from Mexico. The 33-year-old plays as an attacking midfielder for the Empire Strykers in the Major Arena Soccer League. With the Mexican Under-23s, Fabián captured the 2012 Olympic Qualifying Tournament title, scoring the game-tying goal in the final and tying for the tournament lead with five goals. With Mexico, he secured the gold medal at the Olympics in London with a victory over Brazil. Rounding out the group is 29-year-old soccer royalty Sebastián Fassi from Mexico. He also played as a goalkeeper for San Fernando CD in the Spanish Primera Federación club. His father is Andrés Fassi, the vice president of the Pachuca soccer club in Mexico.
