Can You Stay In The 'Love Island' Villa? The Answer Is A Little Complicated

While watching "Love Island," it's hard to tear our eyes away from the contestants with their wild drama and the steamy hookups. But if there's one thing that can distract us, it's the gorgeous villas the show takes place in.

As seen in this video tour by "Love Island USA" host Sarah Hyland, the villa the singles live in is absolutely stunning, complete with a serene pool, open-air living rooms, and palm tree-dotted surroundings. We have to imagine that once you make it to "Love Island," it's tough to leave!

So, can the average person stay at the villa? Well, it depends on which season's villa you're eyeing.

The first season of "Love Island" took place in Fiji at the Villa Takali, and you can absolutely rent a night there! It sounds like a dream vacation to us: The villa, which is located in Pacific Harbour, has five bedrooms and six bathrooms, with its rooms all surrounding a central infinity pool. There's also a tennis court, a golf green, a private library, a cinema, and a bar! It's truly the epitome of luxury.

If the accommodations of the second season are more your speed, you're going to want to head to Las Vegas. Due to COVID-19 restrictions at the time, filming locations had to be rejiggered, which is how contestants ended up at The Cromwell. Located right on the Strip, it has an enviable location, as well as a stunning pool and a fun casino inside, if you'd like to book a stay at this four-star hotel.

The third season, meanwhile, took place in Hawaii at the Grand Naniloa Hotel Hilo located on the Big Island. It's the perfect option for lovers of luxury: The striking waterfront views alone are worth the price of admission. Oh, and it comes with complimentary golf. 

However, the fourth season is taking place in an entirely new locale: The Dos Pueblos Ranch in Santa Barbara, California. The massive ranch actually has a storied history: The 15,000-acre ranch was first built all the way back in 1842. The ranch's Casa Grande building is what specifically acts as the villa on "Love Island." While it is undoubtedly stunning — it often serves as a wedding venue! — you won't be able to book a personal stay at the ranch anytime soon. 

The land was recently bought by a developer who announced late last year he was establishing "setting out goals for 'environmentally responsible uses' like public trails, Chumash cultural preservation, and a retreat center," per "The Independent." However, he's also floated plans to turn part of it into a campground — so while you may not get to experience the Casa Grande building, you may at least be able to experience the gorgeous natural surroundings.
