Discover how Love Island USA host Ariana Madix plans to add spice and drama to Season 6.
Ariana Madix is set to bring her vibrant personality to Peacock's Love Island USA as the new host for Season 6. In a recent interview with E! News, Madix hinted at her plans to be "involved" and "a little shady," indicating that viewers can expect her to bring a mix of fun and directness to the show.
"I will definitely be having these girls' backs," Madix said. “So, the boys better watch out because if they try anything. I'm watching.”
Madix’s history of dealing with dramatic relationships on Vanderpump Rules has prepared her well for this new role and to keep a watchful eye on the Love Island USA bombshells. She was involved in a cheating scandal in 2023 with her then boyfriend of nine years, Tom Sandoval, after it came to light during Season 10 of Vanderpump Rules that Tom had cheated on her with their then-castmate Rachel "Raquel" Leviss. It’s no wonder Madix is keeping an eye on the fellas in the villa!
"I might have to be a little shady, depending on what happens," the 38-year-old host shared. "I will definitely be very involved."
Madix aims to ensure that contestants are genuine in their quest for love, drawing from her own experiences to guide and challenge them. This season, set in a new villa in Fiji, promises more drama, unexpected twists, and intense romantic developments. Love Island USA Season 6 is scheduled to premiere on June 11 on Peacock, and Madix’s fresh perspective is expected to add an exciting dynamic to the series.
In March, Madix confirmed she was hired as the new host of Love Island USA. In an Instagram video, she said, “Talk about a bombshell. This summer, I’m trading rhinestone buckles for bikinis. I’m hosting the next season of Love Island USA, streaming this summer on Peacock. I can’t wait to stir up some trouble in paradise.”
Madix’s hosting duties will include moving the couples along through the show’s process until a winner is chosen, and apparently keeping the men in check.
