Sarah Hyland Announces She's The New 'Love Island' Season 4 Host
"Modern Family" actress and Wells Adams' fiancée, Sarah Hyland, confirmed she's the new host of "Love Island" Season 4.
The U.S. version of “Love Island” is jumping from CBS to Peacock for Season 4 on July 19 — and it’ll do so with a new host.
“Modern Family” actress Sarah Hyland confirmed Thursday on Instagram she will replace Arielle Vandenberg as the host of the hit reality series when it makes its jump to the streaming platform. The TV star shared a steamy photo of herself on a boat in a red bikini with a glass of wine in her hand, implying that she’s making her way to the beach to settle in as the show’s new host.
“I got a text!!!! And it’s a juicy one! I can’t wait to be your new host of @loveislandusa,” she captioned the snap.
Hyland entering the world of reality TV hosting makes it a family business, sort of. The actress has been engaged to “Bachelor” star Wells Adams since 2019 (the duo has signaled that they plan to tie the knot this year). In addition to appearing on the 12th season of “The Bachelorette,” he appeared on the third season of “Bachelor In Paradise.” Although he was eliminated in Week 6 both times, he returned to Seasons 4, 5, and 6 of “Bachelor In Paradise" to replace Jorge Moreno as the resident hotel bartender.
Because of his reality TV prowess, he was among the first to comment on Hyland’s big “Love Island” news.
“We out here really cornering the reality TV beach dating sector,” he wrote.
Upon the premiere, Hyland will be the one welcoming a new batch of singles to the villa who are all hoping for a chance at finding love, winning $100,000 or, if all else fails, getting to spend some time around sexy people on the vacation of a lifetime.
“Love Island” Season 4 premieres on Tuesday, July 19 at 9 ET/PT on Peacock, The premiere will also air on 10:05 p.m. ET/PT on USA Network.
