Paul Swan Describes Being In 'Complete Bliss' After The Birth of His Daughter
"Austin Dillon's Life In The Fast Lane" stars Paul and Mariel Swan welcomed their first child, Bella, to the world on May 18.
The cast of “Austin Dillon’s Life In The Fast Lane” just got 7.1 lbs bigger now that Paul and Mariel Swan have welcomed their daughter.
The couple confirmed last week that they welcomed Bella Victoria Swan on May 18, 2022, with an adorable photo of their little bundle of joy sound asleep, swaddled in a pink blanket. Days after her birth, Paul shared a statement with USA Insider explaining how incredibly happy they are to have finally expanded their family.
“Mariel and I are in complete bliss over the birth of our first child,” he wrote. “The love that we immediately felt for Bella is like nothing we’ve ever felt before! We cannot wait to watch her grow up and see all the amazing things she is going to accomplish!”
In addition to the statement, they shared exclusive photos of baby Bella now that she's home.
The statement and images come not long after he followed up the birth announcement on Instagram with a collage of photos showing the first hours he spent in the hospital with baby Bella, all while sporting a brand new white hat that appropriately reads “Dad.” Much of their first day together seems to have included both daddy and daughter catching up on their sleep. Being a newborn baby is hard work, after all.
The following day, Mariel took to Instagram for the first time since going into labor to share an image of herself holding her newborn daughter in her hospital bed. In true Swan fashion, the mom and daughter are clad in all-pink outfits.
On Tuesday, May 17, they shared a video of themselves in the car on the way to the hospital to announce to their fans that Mariel’s water had broken and it was only a matter of time before the Richard Childress Racing family added another little fan who will no doubt cheer her dad's team on at the track for years to come.
Although baby Bella entered the world just in time to catch her parents’ new USA Network series, early episodes of “Austin Dillon’s Life In The Fast Lane” will feature Mariel during her pregnancy. The couple, who have been married since 2019, first announced they were expecting a baby in November of 2021 when they shared an image of themselves holding her sonogram.
“Baby Swan 2022,” she captioned the post at the time.
“Austin Dillon’s Life In The Fast Lane” premieres on June 23 at 9:30 p.m. ET/PT on USA Network.
