'Preparation Starts Now!': Paul Swan Shares Impressive Workout Video
"Life In The Fast Lane" star Paul Swan is all about physical fitness and he showed off his skills in a new Instagram video.
Paul Swan offered an impressive look at his physical fitness with an exercise that will help him both in his role as a NASCAR tire carrier and a busy family man.
The 31-year-old Richard Childress Racing pit crew member took to Instagram on Thursday where he shared a video of himself getting in a tough workout in the team’s training gym. The exercise required him to carry two racks of heavy-looking weights, one in each hand, below his waist across the entire gym floor.
Anyone who has tuned into “Austin Dillon’s Life In The Fast Lane” knows that Paul is a pretty vocal guy, but you can still hear how much the workout must have hurt by the grunts of agony he lets out as he expertly gets it done. Once across the floor, he shockingly sets them down, turns around, picks them up, and does the whole thing again, all the while letting his muscles bulge and downright showing off (he’s even wearing a weighted vest to make it extra hard).
Although it’s clearly training for work, Paul notes in the caption of the post that he’s also preparing for more family trips.
“Bella and Mama are about to have all the luggage for vacations,” he writes. “Preparation starts now!”
Paul and his wife, Mariel, welcomed their baby daughter Bella in June and it seems they’re already planning big trips with the youngster sooner rather than later. The duo previously discussed how much their lives have changed since becoming new parents. Paul also told USA Insider that his physical fitness and training have already helped him immeasurably when it comes to dad life.
“Sometimes, I'm picking something up with my toes,” Paul joked at the time. “Like, I find myself laying on the couch with Bella looking at something using my feet to pick it up and, like, hand it up to me, the remote, a blanket, a bottle. I'm holding her in one hand, I'm holding the bottle, changing the channel. It's crazy. It definitely helps in parenting if you were an athlete back in the day.”
The married couple also discussed how much travel really plays a big part in their lifestyle when it comes to his work in NASCAR.
“It's definitely tough,” Paul says. “You want to go out, have fun and let loose a little, but, you know, we race the next day.”
You can see how Paul, Mariel and their best friends Austin and Whitney Dillon balance work and play every Thursday at 9:30/8:30c on USA Network when “Austin Dillon's Life In The Fast Lane” airs.
