A Conspiracy Revealed? Johnny Gargano Claims The Miz Hired Dexter Lumis To Stalk Himself
Did The Miz pay Dexter Lumis to stalk him because he's "obsessed with himself?" Johnny Gargano thinks so.
Last night on RAW, the WWE Universe needed to double-check their television sets to make sure they weren’t accidentally watching an episode of “60 Minutes” when Byron Saxton interviewed Johnny Gargano in a CBS-style investigative report called “WWE Investigates.”
Over the course of the past few months, Dexter Lumis has been relentless in his efforts to stalk The Miz. Lumis has done everything to get to the A-Lister, from hiding underneath the ring to dressing up as security and even just attacking him in plain sight, The Miz can’t seem to escape his stalker.
It wasn’t until two weeks ago that the WWE Universe had any idea why this was happening, or that there was a deeper story behind it. The brother-in-law of Dexter Lumis, the recently returned Johnny Gargano, told Miz that he knew about his secret and would tell the world if Miz didn’t come clean. The former WWE Champion vehemently denied any knowledge of some sort of conspiracy or prior relationship with his stalker, but Gargano was persistent in his warnings.
Fast forward to last night on RAW, fans saw Gargano level some extremely serious allegations against The Miz in this investigative interview as he claims The Miz has been paying Lumis to stalk him.
Yes, you read that right. According to Johnny Wrestling, The Miz has been paying Dexter Lumis to stalk him, and he has proof to support his claims. Gargano then played a phone call that seemingly recorded The Miz and Lumis arranging an attack for payment — and Miz asking Lumis to keep his mouth shut about it.
Gargano claims The Miz not only hired Lumis to stalk him because he’s obsessed with himself and wants a celebrity stalker, but it would allow him to lose matches like his recent U.S. Title bout against Bobby Lashley, and his credibility wouldn’t be hurt because of the outside interference.
“What better way to play the victim than to orchestrate your own downfall?” Gargano asked. “Miz was never going to beat Bobby Lashley! So he found a way, albeit a painful way, to keep the blame off himself. Smart.”
In addition to Gargano’s shocking claims, he also shared a theory that The Miz refused to pay Lumis what he was owed, and now Lumis is actually after The Miz for real. Whether The Miz lost control of his own situation or Gargano’s accusations are false is yet to be seen, but the WWE Universe will be on the edge of their seats as they wait for more evidence. One thing is for sure: We wouldn’t put it past The Miz to hire someone to stalk him, but if he did, the plan was executed to perfection.
