Love Island USA Season 5 is underway, but fans are wondering how to cast their vote for their favorite couples on the series.

For those that aren’t aware how the game works, it’s fairly simple. A group of singles enter a beautiful villa in a tropical location, in this case, Fiji. Once they enter the villa, they are immediately paired off into couples based on their immediate attraction to one another.

After that, it’s a matter of showing their partner their loyalty and how into them they are, because if a relationship fizzles out, they have the option to recouple with someone else in the villa or one of the various new bombshells brought in over time. While the goal is to find love, if someone finds themselves uncoupled, they can be sent packing and have to return back to home from paradise empty handed.

In addition to trying to keep themselves partnered up, the Islanders have more to prove. They have to convince the viewing public of their love connection because they get a say in how far people go. This is where fans like you come in; the viewing audience gets to vote for their favorite couples and will ultimately have the final say in who will take home the $100,000 cash prize. 

How to Vote for Love Island Season 5 Winners

Now that the rules are out of the way, here’s how to cast your vote on who is getting dumped and who can stay in the villa. First, you’ll need to download the Love Island app on your mobile phone. The app is available on both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. Once you’ve downloaded and authenticated your ID, it’s time to vote! Viewers can open the app and tap on the “Vote” tab where it asks who your favorite Love Island USA couple is.

Voting is free, but terms and conditions may apply based on your provider. Everyone who votes must be 18 years or older. There’s a small window after the show ends to save your favorite Love Island USA couple on the series. Remember, you're voting for who you want to stay, not who you think should go. After the voting period closes, votes are counted, and the couple with the lowest votes is up for elimination. The fan vote shows the Islanders who is popular with viewers and who isn’t and gives them a chance to adjust their behavior accordingly. 

When Can You Vote for Love Island Season 5 Winners?

Fans will only be able to vote once per voting event on an eligible smartphone. Some voting periods are only open for a short period of time after the episode, so make sure you are locked in six days a week so you don’t miss out. After the episode, the voting window opens. Typically, the voting window lasts for about 2 hours. After the voting window closes, the voting function on the Love Island USA app will not work until it reopens after the next episode. 

Voting usually starts around 10:30 PM ET, and ends around 12:30 PM ET. New episodes of Love Island USA available for streaming six days a week on Peacock.
