Liv Morgan & Shayna Baszler Turn To Fellow Superstars For Additional Training Ahead Of Clash At The Castle
With Clash at the Castle on the horizon and Morgan needing to tune up her grappling, she called up her friend Riddle to teach her a few things.
SmackDown Women’s Champion Liv Morgan has a steep challenge ahead of her at Clash at the Castle next Saturday in Wales. She is scheduled to defend her title against The Queen of Spades, Shayna Baszler, one of the most brutal and technically gifted wrestlers the WWE has ever seen.
Baszler is a former NXT Women’s Champion in her own right and a former UFC fighter. Her formidable MMA background has already paid dividends during this feud as she has gone after Morgan’s left arm, nearly injuring it in the process. With Clash at the Castle on the horizon and Morgan needing to tune up her grappling, she called up her friend Riddle to teach her a few things.
Riddle is also a former UFC athlete, so who better to call than the King of Bros? The two fan favorites met on their days off at a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu gym where Riddle coached the current champion on submission defenses and taught her a couple of holds. The lively and positive personalities of both Superstars really came out during their training and it was a ton of fun to watch and learn from them.
Baszler, on the other hand, sharpened her skills with Ronda Rousey this week, so we know she will be on her A-game in Cardiff. Morgan noted during the video that her arm was “not at 100 percent” and we can expect Baszler to target the injury like a bullseye.
Riddle also has a match coming up this Saturday against a tough opponent. He’s scheduled to go one-on-one against Seth Rollins, who has been on fire as of late. The two were originally supposed to face off at SummerSlam, but the match was postponed due to Riddle suffering an injury after being Stomped into steel steps.
Both Morgan and Riddle are looking to get revenge against their foes this Saturday at Clash at the Castle in Cardiff, Wales. You can stream it live on the WWE Network on Peacock to see if their hard work pays off!
