Jennifer Tilly Shares Family Dinner Photo Of Returning 'Chucky' Season 2 Cast
Jennifer Tilly shared a photo of some of the original "Chucky" cast from the show and movies all smiling at dinner together.
Jennifer Tilly shared a photo of the “Chucky" Season 2 cast eating dinner together, proving that just because they’re often on opposite ends of a magical killer doll’s murder spree doesn’t mean they can’t enjoy each other’s company.
Tilly is hard at work filming the upcoming second season of the hit USA Network/SYFY series based on the “Child’s Play” franchise. Fortunately for fans, she hasn’t been shy about sharing behind-the-scenes photos and videos on her social media to get people excited for what’s to come. On Sunday, she took to her Instagram where she shared a photo of herself with a majority of the old-school franchise cast as well as creator Don Mancini.
“We always have a good time,” Tilly captioned the post from a Japanese restaurant called Kasa Moto in Toronto, where the series is filmed.
The photo includes Tilly, Mancini, and returning cast members Fiona Dourif (Nica Pierce), Alex Vincent (Andy Barclay), Christine Elise (Kyle), and Devon Sawa. All of the actors are confirmed to appear in the next season of “Chucky” when it returns for more murder and mayhem led by Charles Lee Ray, better known as Chucky, the killer doll voiced by Brad Dourif.
In addition to the returning cast members, it was revealed that Tilly’s best friend, “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Sutton Stracke as well as her sister, Meg Tilly, will be jumping aboard. They’ll be joined by "The Matrix" alum Joe Pantoliano, Lara Jean Chorostecki, Tony Nappo, and Gina Gershon, all of whom will be introduced in Season 2 as well.
Most recently, it was announced that “The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina” star Lachlan Watson was brought in to play Glen/Glenda, Chucky and Tiffany Valentine’s twins who were first introduced in the 2004 movie “Seed of Chucky.” Tilly previously welcomed Lachlan to the cast in a tweet that seemingly showed viewers their first glimpse of Glen/Glenda in Season 2.
“Thrilled to welcome the wonderful #LachlanWatson to the #chuckyfamily!” Tilly captioned the image at the time.
Season 2 of “Chucky” is currently filming, with Mancini acting as both showrunner and executive producer alongside Nick Antosca, Alex Hedlund, David Kirschner, and Jeff Renfroe. The series is produced by UCP, a division of Universal Studio Group.
"Chucky" is scheduled to return on USA and SYFY this fall. Meanwhile, the complete first season, which earned 11.6 million viewers across all platforms, is currently available to stream on Peacock.
