Blake Shelton Breaks Ground On New Ole Red Location In Las Vegas
It's time for Las Vegas to have a taste of the party that goes down on "Barmageddon" every week with a new Ole Red location opening right on the strip.
“Barmageddon” star and country music legend Blake Shelton is expanding his Ole Red empire out west to the Las Vegas strip.
On Friday, Shelton took to social media to share an image of himself helping break ground on a new Ole Red restaurant and live music venue coming to the corner of Las Vegas Blvd and Flamingo, right in the heart of the City of Sin. In the image, Shelton is standing with two others holding shovels sporting the Ole Red logo on it that also look vaguely like guitars as they shoveled the first bit of dirt to make room for the city’s latest place to party.

“Go big or go home!!!!! Vegas is in need of some damn good country music and we're going to bring it to them @olered!!!” he captioned the post.
Later that day at the groundbreaking ceremony, the singer was joined by former contestants of “The Voice” to kick off construction with a live performance.
Since opening the first location in Tishomingo, Oklahoma in 2017, Shelton has expanded the Ole Red brand into Florida and Tennessee, including the flagship location in Nashville, where “Barmageddon” is filmed.
However, the new Las Vegas location is poised to be unique in that it’s the largest Ole Red location yet. It will have three floors and 27,000 square-foot of space that will allow plenty of room for the “full-blown honkey-tonk dance floor, 686 seats, and VIP experiences. There will also be a rooftop where live DJ sets will take place regularly, all overlooking the famous Strip, according to NBC News 3 in Las Vegas.
The new location will also mark the very first Ole Red to open in the western United States, with all other locations being in the east and down south in Orlando, Florida. Nothing helps bring the country music presence to a city quite like having an Ole Red location. In fact, in 2022, Shelton made it so that anyone coming to Nashville would be able to visit an Ole Red location right in the city’s airport.
"I’m very, very proud to announce that Ole Red at the Nashville International Airport is officially open,” he said in a video at the time announcing the grand opening. “So, now you can start hanging out with us and missing all your flights. Who doesn’t want to hang out and hear country music and drink beer in an airport?”
