Blake Shelton's Has Fans Excited, Guessing About Mysterious Ole Red Social Media Post
Barmageddon fans have yet another reason to get themselves to Ole Red this week thanks to a mysterious post from Blake Shelton.
In addition to being the home of USA Network’s Barmageddon as well as a haven for good food and live music, fans of Blake Shelton love to eat at his Ole Red restaurant chain because there’s always a possibility the bossman himself will show up for a bite and an impromptu performance.
While the drop-ins are mostly a surprise, Shelton recently tipped off those within traveling distance of his Tishomingo, Oklahoma location that he’s fixing to swing by at some point this week for a visit and a brief performance.

“Hey people! I’m thinking about doing something at @OleRed Tishomingo later this week. Not a big deal at all but just maybe play a few songs. I’ll send an update for y’all in a day or so!” he posted Tuesday.
Although he stopped short of mentioning the exact day and time he’ll be there (celebrities can’t really do that kind of thing on social media), the official Ole Red Instagram account seemingly confirmed that a drop-by is imminent.
While it’s not often that Shelton will announce a drop-in is coming, those who frequent Ole Red locations know that anyone, including the man himself, can take the stage. The venues are essentially a revolving door of top country talent, some plucked directly from Team Blake on The Voice, who are always on hand to keep customers happy with some top-tier live music. Recently, Shelton dropped by the brand new Nashville location for a surprise visit — no, not the one where Barmageddon is filmed, the one inside the airport.
A video posted by the Ole Red Instagram account shows the boss showing up and taking a few photos with fans before getting on stage with a guitar to delight and entertain.
“Believe it or not, this is the first time I’ve been into the Ole Red in the airport. And thank you guys for supporting us and coming in,” he says in the video.
Sadly, as the Ole Red empire grows, Shelton will struggle to be everywhere at once. In fact, it was recently announced that he broke ground on an upcoming Ole Red location headed to Sin City itself: Las Vegas. After it opens, though, it’s only a matter of time before patrons can expect to see Shelton and some of his friends take the stage to get the ongoing party started, which he’ll also do in the new season of Barmageddon.
