Here Are All The Celebrities Appearing To Play Games On 'Barmageddon'
"Barmageddon" will have a revolving door of celebrities joining Blake Shelton and Carson Daly for some drinks and friendly competition.
Blake Shelton, Nikki Bella, and Carson Daly are calling on their celebrity friends to compete with one another on “Barmageddon,” a unique new game show premiering Monday, December 5 at 11 p.m. ET/PT on USA Network. That's less than a week away — which means it’s time to find out exactly who is stopping by for a drink and some bar games at Ole Red, a bar Blake co-owns in Nashville, Tennessee.
Stars from all parts of show business will will be competing for bar glory. Here's who to expect.
Blake & Kane Brown
Episode 1 kicks off with none other than “The Voice” coach and country star Blake Shelton rolling up his sleeves and getting in on the action to show everyone who comes after him how it’s done. Going up against him is fellow country artist Kane Brown, who previously made history by achieving the No. 1 position on all 5 U.S. Billboard Country charts — a stat that doesn’t sit well with the highly competitive Shelton.
Gwen Stefani & Sheryl Crow
Shelton’s wife, the three-time GRAMMY Award winner, multi-platinum solo artist and frontwoman of No Doubt Gwen Stefani, is naturally one of the first celebrities to come to “Barmageddon.” She’ll go up against Sheryl Crow, a nine-time GRAMMY winner who has sold more than 50 million albums worldwide. While their musical prowess is unquestioned, how will they do at bar games?
Jimmie Johnson & Clint Bowyer
NASCAR fans know Jimmie Johnson as the legendary driver with a jaw-dropping seven Cup Series wins under his belt. Despite retiring in 2020, he announced he’s coming back to professional driving next season. We’re not saying his time on “Barmageddon” had anything to do with that, but who knows? He’ll go up against Clint Bowyer, a fellow former stock car driver who now does NASCAR commentary professionally.
Jay Pharoah & Martin Kove
Comedian and actor Jay Pharoah, who fans may recognize from “Saturday Night Live” and the Showtime series “White Famous,” will go up against “Karate Kid” and “Cobra Kai” villain Martin Kove, best known for playing the nefarious Sensei John Kreese. While Kove may be a big shot on the sparring mat, how will he do against the quick wit of Pharoah?
Sasha Banks & Brie Bella
It’s a WWE night of Superstars with host Nikki Bella’s sister, Brie, taking on Sasha Banks. Both women rose to fame by way of wrestling and have made great strides when it comes to opening up sports entertainment for women. This is perhaps the most competitive round given the background of the two celebrities.
Trace Adkins and Mike Vrabel
It’s not at all surprising that Trace Adkins makes his way to Ole Red given what a close and well-documented friendship the country legend has with Blake Shelton. He was even on hand for “The Voice” coach’s introduction into the Grand Ole Opry. In true “Barmageddon” fashion, he’ll play on a level playing field in bar games alongside former professional NFL player and current Tennessee Titans coach Mike Vrabel.
Malin Akerman & Lil Rel Howery
It’s a battle of the actors when Malin Akerman, best known for hit movies like “Watchmen,” “Rock of Ages,” and “The Heartbreak Kid” goes head-to-head with Lil Rel Howery, whose star has been on the rise since his scene-stealing performance in “Get Out,” that led to roles in comedies like “Free Guy” and “Vacation Friends.”
Chris Young & Elle King
Country superstar Chris Young comes home to USA Network. Before he was a well-known country artist, he got his start as the winner of “Nashville Star,” a competition series that aired right here on USA Network. Now, he’s joining his buddies at Ole Red to take on fellow musician Elle King. King is best known for hits like “Ex’s & Oh’s” and “Drunk."
