Wait, Did Blake Shelton And Sheryl Crow Really Hook Up?
During her episode of "Barmageddon," both Sheryl Crow and Blake Shelton joked that they hooked up years ago.
The latest episode of “Barmageddon” launched some speculation about host Blake Shelton and guest Sheryl Crow’s past — specifically, whether they hooked up as he said (joked?) they did.
The episode opened, as all do, with a coin flip between the celebrity guests. Crow and Shelton’s wife, Gwen Stefani, were the stars this time so they flipped to see who would go first in the game Drunken Axe Hole. Nikki Bella explained that, since Stefani is married to Shelton, she can call heads or tails.
“I’m not married to Blake?” Crow jokingly asked.
“One hookup years ago, didn’t count,” Shelton shouted from the sidelines.

When the entire bar demanded details, Crow jokingly grabbed the mic and began a story. It’s likely, given the situation, the duo was just joking.
Still, the alleged hookup came up again during Keg Kurling when Stefani stepped over the line while shooting and Shelton declared it was OK since they’re married. Frustrated by the rule change, Crow ran way over the line on her next shot, forcing Shelton to declare it too was OK.
“Wait, so you did hook up with Blake?” Stefani jokingly asked.
“Well … I… Your turn!” a flustered Crow responds.
Jokes during “Barmageddon” aside, Shelton and Crow do indeed have a professional history together. Their most notable collaboration was years ago when Crow appeared as a mentor to Team Blake on “The Voice” and sang alongside him for a song on his Christmas album. At the time, she was a supportive member of Team Blake, even joining the country superstar in badmouthing his then-rival, Adam Levine.
By 2015, Shelton had sparked a relationship with his fellow “The Voice” coach, Stefani. So, there wasn’t a ton of time for him and Crow to have the hookup he joked about on the show. Instead, it’s much more likely a product of the kind of fun-loving trash talk that is synonymous with “Barmageddon.”
