Paul And Mariel Swan Welcome Baby Girl: 'We Love You So Much'

Even before its premiere, the cast of “Austin Dillon’s Life In The Fast Lane” is getting even bigger. Paul and Mariel Swan welcomed their first daughter, Bella Victoria Swan, on Wednesday evening. 

The couple shared the good news on Instagram with an adorable photo showing their little bundle of joy for the first time. In the image, she's sound asleep, swaddled in a pink blanket with her name on a sign resting above her head. 

"Bella Victoria Swan, 5|18|2022 1:24 am, 7.1 lbs, 20,” the couple wrote in the caption of the image.

Paul took things a step further, commenting: "Welcome to the world Sweet Princess! We love you so much!" 

On Tuesday, Paul and Mariel shared a video on Instagram announcing that her water broke and she was officially in labor. 

“Whoa, here we go, Bella is coming!” an excited Paul shouts from inside the car, presumably on the way to the hospital. “She called me mid-squat about an hour ago saying the water broke, so here we go!” 

Mariel, sitting in the passenger seat looking very excited, says she asked her mom what was happening when her water broke, making her the first to confirm she was in labor. Paul then pans the camera to the backseat of the car, revealing Mariel’s mom ready to be by her daughter’s side to welcome her grandchild. 

Mariel and Paul first announced they were expecting a baby together in November by posing for an outdoor photo shoot while holding her sonogram: “Baby Swan 2022,” she captioned the first image. 

Paul also shared the news with a series of photos from the same photo shoot on his account, writing: “Mariel said the Swan household needed more JUICE….I gladly obliged! Coming soon….#BabySwan2022.”

In addition to the photos, Mariel shared a video she took of her revealing her positive pregnancy test to Paul. The video opens with Paul sound asleep on the couch and her struggling to wake him up. When he finally opens his eyes enough, she sticks the test right in his face. After that, he has no trouble finding his energy and springs up and begins to cheer. 

“How I told Paul I was pregnant!!” she captioned the video. “I tried to wake him up and get him to come upstairs but he was so tired from the night race the night before and then he raged all day at the Panthers game. Getting him up seemed impossible! lol, but then ‘THIS’ happened and it was a moment I will never forget.” 

In January, the couple gave yet another update on her pregnancy, revealing not only that they were having a baby girl, but they’d decided on her name. 

“Bella- I have been obsessed with the name Baby Bella for as long as I can remember! I love the femininity and elegance of the name Bella,” Mariel wrote at the time. “Victoria- Is my mother’s name, and I wanted my future daughter to always have a piece of my mother and to carry the legacy of the women in my family. Swan- My last name of course, given by my amazing husband!!” 

The duo will likely share a lot more of their pregnancy journey on their upcoming reality series, which opens with Mariel several months along in her pregnancy. Those curious to find out more will simply have to tune into the premiere of “Austin Dillon’s Life In the Fast Lane.”
