With Austin Dillon’s life poised to be the subject of a new reality show on USA Network, "Austin Dillon's Life in the Fast Lane," it’s a great time to get to know the man. What better way to do that than through his illustrious career behind the wheel as a professional racecar driver?

How to Watch

Stream all of "Austin Dillon's Life in the Fast Lane" Season 1 on Peacock.

Since he was a child, racing has been a big part of Dillon’s family life. His grandfather, Richard Childress, owned the RCR team, meaning Austin and his brother, Ty, got some pretty great access to legendary races and racers such as Dale Earnhardt. When he got older and it was time for him to get behind the wheel himself, he did so with the talent and determination of someone with racing in their blood.

In addition to being the star of “Life in the Fast Lane,” Dillon has some wildly impressive racing accolades under his belt. To help get an idea of exactly who he is and his relationship to the sport ahead of his new show, below is a rundown of just some of his most impressive career highlights.

Two-Time Rookie Of The Year Winner

Although he's won a lot of races, two early standouts in Dillon's career came in 2010 and 2012 when he took home Rookie of the Year. In 2010, he competed in the NASCAR Truck Series and earned the title along with finishing fifth in the driver’s point standings, becoming the second rookie to do so in nine seasons, according to RCR Racing

As if that weren't impressive enough, two years later he earned another Rookie of the Year title, progressing into the now NASCAR Xfinity Series and finished third in the driver point standings that same year.

First NASCAR Championship

In what was doubtlessly his biggest year in NASCAR to date, Dillon, competing as a full-time Truck Series racer in 2011, earned wins at Nashville Superspeedway and Chicagoland Speedway before becoming that year’s Truck Series Champion. To this day, he remains the youngest driver to ever win a championship in the series’ history.

To match his talent behind the wheel, he was also voted by fans as the Camping World Truck Series Most Popular Driver.

Another Championship

In 2013, Dillon was a force to be reckoned with on the track yet again when he took home the NASCAR Xfinity Series title that year. Also at that race, he set the record for the most consecutive poles in series history.

Daytona 500 Winner

Although he’s no stranger to being the first over the finish line, any racer will tell you that a victory at the prestigious Daytona 500 is an accolade all its own. In 2018, after a slew of wins that included the Coca-Cola 600 (his first career NASCAR Cup Series victory), he took first at the Daytona 500 in a nail-biting last-lap pass

Now, as he continues to look ahead toward new wins in his racing future, fans can come along for the ride with Dillon and his family and closest friends on “Austin Dillon's Life in the Fast Lane," premiering on June 23 at 9:30 p.m. ET/PT on USA Network.
