'Austin Dillon's Life In The Fast Lane' Debuts NASCAR & Family-Centric First-Look Trailer
Austin Dillon will let cameras into his life to show how wife Whitney, son Ace and best friends Paul and Mariel Swan help contribute to his winning NASCAR record.
As “Austin Dillon’s Life In The Fast Lane” prepares to race its way into audience’s hearts on USA Network, fans of the NASCAR driver were given their first look today at what to expect from the upcoming reality series by way of its first teaser trailer.
Although racing is front-and-center in their lives, the teaser proves the show is all about the family.
The NASCAR pro, who drives the No. 3 car for Richard Childress Racing, promises an inside look at what makes a successful driving career. For Austin, that means the love of his wife, Whitney, their son, Ace, and their two best friends, Paul and Mariel Swan.
“Racing and this lifestyle, it’s a lot of fun,” Austin says. “But it’s a lot more fun when you have friends.”
In the first look at the show, the people in Austin's life take center stage, including Whitney, who introduces herself as the CEO of the Dillon Household.
“Perfect wife, wife of the year,” she says.
Paul and Mariel get their time to shine as well. Austin met Paul while working with Richard Childress Racing in 2014 and they’ve been friends ever since. It helps that their wives are also inseparable. At one point they even muse about how much has happened for them in seven years to lead them to life in front of the camera like this.
The teaser also shows Paul and Mariel preparing to expand the family. When the series opens, she is pregnant with their first daughter, Bella Victoria Swan, who they welcomed to the world earlier this month.
However, fans will get to see Paul preparing to become the dad he is today. The pit crew member will have to put every ounce of his fitness and know-how to the test. Fortunately, he has friends like Austin around to help him prepare for things such as diaper changing by firing diapered footballs at him and making him catch them.
While that may not have very practical applications to fatherhood, the point is that the group is there for each other.
“When things get crazy, we’ve got each other to kinda lean on,” Austin says.
“We’re not blood, but we’re still family,” Whitney adds.
Catch all the high-performance racing and high-hilarity antics of the Dillon and Swan families when “Austin Dillon’s Life In The Fast Lane” premieres on June 23 at 9:30 p.m. ET/PT only on USA Network.
