Why Alexa Bliss Says Cardi B Would Make A Perfect WWE Superstar
Alexa Bliss also talked the upcoming Clash At The Castle in Cardiff, Wales.
Celebrity guest stars in WWE are not unusual, and former Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss thinks musician Cardi B would be a great fit in WWE. When Bliss sat down with "Verge Magazine" to discuss the upcoming Clash At The Castle premium live event in Cardiff, Wales, she previewed the showdown, shared some of her favorite movies, and explained which match she is most excited to see at the show.
Although she was recently eliminated in the Women’s Tag Team Championship tournament after suffering a loss to Dakota Kai and Iyo Sky on RAW, she remains excited about Wales and one match in particular.
“I’ve always been a big fan of Drew [McIntyre]. He’s a dominant force for sure. I think he can definitely take Roman Reigns and what better place than Cardiff? I think it’ll be a really interesting clash … no pun intended!” she said.
Bliss was then asked if there were any celebrities out there who would be a great fit as a friend or a foe in WWE. Her answer? Cardi B.
“I feel like they have to have a big personality. We’ve already had some stuff with Cardi B but I think she would be a really good WWE Superstar," she elaborated.
Musician, model, and actress Cardi B has been outspoken for years regarding her love for the WWE and her favorite superstars, Batista, Booker T, Lita, and Eddie Guerrero.
In 2021, rumors circulated around social media that Cardi B was going to host SummerSlam. Although it didn’t happen, she did engage in a heated, NSFW Twitter beef with Lacey Evans at the time. Based on the foul-mouthed exchange and her rap prowess, it feels likely Cardi B can cut a mean promo!
We will just have to wait and see if Cardi B actually makes the transition to WWE, even as just a celebrity guest star. If it does happen, we can be sure to expect some chaos and an energetic, entertaining show. You can read the full interview with Alexa Bliss here.
