Drew Barrymore and Cynthia Erivo are on the same page when it comes to physical touch. During the Dec. 10 episode of “The Drew Barrymore Show,” the talk show host revealed that she’s been warned to “back off a little bit” due to being “so touchy.” Drew’s comments came after she asked the “Wicked” actress if her co-star, Ariana Grande, is also as “touchy,” leading Cynthia to confirm that she is and explain how they both use physical touch to communicate. “That's sometimes how she and I communicate, we might be talking to someone or I might need to, like, communicate something to her. And it's just a squeeze of the hand or just like a pinch of a finger or a hug,” the British performer shared. She and Drew also agreed that physical connection does not always have to correlate with being romantic.
